If that's the case, then Vlade Divac is due to get a big chunk taken out of his rearend.

Divic is due? What are you talking about? Shaq dunks on Divac all the time when Divac flops. As a matter of fact, I think Divac seriously cut down on flops this series since he hasn't gotten much offensive foul calls in his favor.

Is it that hard to figure out? If Fisher was due because he flops, then the King of All Floppers, Vlade Divac is REALLY due.

Shaq dunks on Divac all the time when Divac flops.

Shaq dunks hard on everyone, most stand their ground. Vlade on the other hand, falls to the floor and acts like he was hit by a cruise missle before Shaq even makes contact 90% of the time.

Really? I've seen the Big Flopperoo in action plenty of times this series, he just hasn't gotten the calls as often.

How can anyone compare Fisher to Vlade Divac? Vlade is the best flopper in the league (he should get an award for that!) and you can't deny he did a great job on defencing Shaq.

trmiv,

READ!!!!!

Divac is not due because HE already gets burn all the time.
Fisher gets the charge call in his favor a very high percentage of the time because he's a good flooper, but it eventually comes back to bite him in the ass. Divac is not due because he gets bite in the ass plenty of time already. As a matter of fact, I can't think of a player in the NBA with less success at flops than Divac.

No, Divac has seriously cut back on flops. Just compare the regular season to now. He was hitting the floor everytime shaq touched the ball. During this series, Divac has spent much more time actually guarding shaq.

That is not true. Shaq gets away with an offensive foul more than anyone in the nba. take a poll here for non laker non kings fan and ask who they think gets away with more offensive fouls than anyone. I think Shaq will come away as the runaway winner. Shaq does bump into Divac hard alot of the time, but instead of flying to the floor as he usually did in the regular season, Divac now tries to stand his ground. Although he still get's knocked back some, his defense and lack of flopping is in large part when Shaq has been semi contained

Vlade is due because he's he's been so blantantly doing it his entire career, it's ridiculous. I used to hate watching him pull that crap as a Laker, just like I hate watching Fisher do it now.

That's because no one in the league flops as much as he does. If you flop as much as him, simple percentages are going to say that you are going to have a lot of unsuccesful flops. Vlade uses the shotgun effect, throw out as many flops as he can, and hope one hits. It's like Iverson shooting the ball, just heave up as many as you can, and hope 39% go in.

He didn't get a chance to pull out the Flopperoo against Shaq as much in this game, because Shaq was in foul trouble most of the game. I did, however, see Vlade flop against Horry, Walker, and Fisher (ironic isn't it?).

And Shaq also gets fouled more than anyone in the NBA without getting the calls. Tell you what, let the refs start calling all the offensive fouls on Shaq, but they also have to start calling all the fouls committed on Shaq by the other team. Most teams would be down to like 5 players by the end of the game if that happened. Shaq would adjust, but teams would be hard pressed to defend Shaq consistently without fouling him.

Yeah, it's all Fisher's fault.

The fact that Mike Bibby is a much, much better player has nothing to do with it.

So the Lakers are losing to the Kings 3 games to 2 just because Fisher sucks? I don't think so. The Kings are a lot better than most people give them credit for. (I'll admit I talked a lot of crap about the Mavs taking the Kings out which of course didn't happen) So when the Lakers lose in Game 6, all you Laker fans will just use Fisher as a scapegoat?

Sure Vlade flops, but I don't think he does it the most or is the best at it...
As long as Karl Malone is in the NBA he will be the king of the flop.

Malone was the Master, and Vlade was the Apprentice, but I believe Vlade has taken the pebble from Malone's hand.

But how can he be due if he already gets burn so many time over and over again by Shaq whenever he flops.

Will, Fisher got some Key flops in his favor late in Game 1 of the series I think and in game 3 of the Spurs series. His flopping
has been crucial for the Lakers down the stretch. You live by the flop you die by the flop. Fisher ran into Webber who wasn't moving therefore a legal screen, and instead of chasing after Billop like he should have, instinct took over and Fisher hit the deck. Can you blame him though? He has had so much success with the Flop late in games during most of the playoffs.

Will you see, that is because Divac has already learned that flop on Shaq and he will make you pay. Until Horry and Walker can make Divac pay for flopping, yes he will keep flopping against them. And why would a Laker fan have any problem with Divac flopping because if anything it just destroys the Kings defense.

Yeah, but wasn't that Sac. vs. Utah series something?
I believe at one point they were trading flops....it just got funny to watch.

Vlade is pathetic, he will flop even when there is obviously no apparent contact. I have respect for Fisher because he's willing to put his body at risk to get the offensive charge, unlike Vlade.

When he gets the foul call, which he often does, it puts Shaq in foul trouble quickly. All it takes is two Divac successful flops, plus the normal fouls you get during the course of a game, and Shaq is sitting down.

Plus, I hate the flop, that to me is not basketball. It's because far too commonplace in the NBA over the past 10 years, and it's out of control. It started with the Jazz, and has gotten worse and worse every year. Vlade respresents the current crop of floppers, so that's why I have a problem with it. Play defense straight up, or get out of the way.

Several points:

1. Vlade flops, but at least he can score. WTF does Fisher do? Jack sh*t.
2. Vlade flops, but at least he can force Shaq to take bad shots. WTF does Fisher do? Force opponents to light his ass up.
3. Bibby is a prime time player no doubt. I'm not taking ANYTHING away from him. He carried the Kings tonight. But he could have been slowed down had Fisher known how to play defense. Just like nobody can stop Kobe or Shaq, but if you have a decent defender, they can slow them down. Fisher did not slow down anything. He SUUUUUUUUUUCKS!
4. Next game look at Fisher playing defense. He has ZERO lateral motion. PG's don't even have to make a fake move, they can get past him even without a fake, and Fisher absolutely cannot block their path.
5. Fisher's f*ckups on defense exposed the Lakers to fouls. Shaq could have saved several fouls if Fisher actually played some defense.
6. Fisher is probably shooting like 1% from the field. Hell that's what it seems like to me.
7. Fisher can't penetrate the defense at all. Look at his offense... all he does is bring the ball up to the 3pt line, pass it to Kobe, then camp out at the 3pt line hoping someone will give him a wide open shot. He is simply unable to create or initiate any plays. Kobe is their only penetrator, and he's a frickin SG, not PG. The only reason Fisher plays PG is because he's short.
8. Fisher cannot pass. Last year at least he could throw up some decent alley-oops. This time all his attempts have failed and ended up as turnovers. WTF is this guy good for? I seriously can't name ONE SINGLE thing he's done well this series.
