***OFFICIAL*** PIC of Ferrari F60

You have GOT to be kidding me - I was holding out hope all along that the FX pics we were seeing were not representative of the final car. This is by far the fugliest Ferrari ever built IMO, even factoring in the very '80s-looking Testarossa. In all fairness the Ferrari site is still calling this a "design prototype," so perhaps it is a work in progress.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly, that design is hideous.

I love Ferrari, but god damn did they screw up on this one.

Viper GTS

At first it struck me rather badly, but after looking at it for a few seconds, it kind of started to grow on me. I like how the front end looks like an Indy car or something. Once you get over the extreme angularity of the styling, it's a pretty attractive car IMO.

its... different... i suppose it performs pretty incredibly. rather have a 575M though.

<< EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, its ass is huge! >>

I like big butts and i cannot lie you other brothers cant deny.....
err
i mean its uggly 😀

People have to remember that drving the f60 is supposed to be as close to and F1 car as has every been built. That is why the car looks that way. Stop complaining. You guys wouldn't want to drive an F1 car to work?

I like the way it looks. Much better than the ugly ass F50 (which was way too busy looking). The F40 is still my fave in this series, though.

ditto mate.

I think its ugly as well but its just for performance the design. I'd take an F40 anyday. That looks the best out of the 3 IMHO.

I'd still take my favorite Testarossa though!

This is ridiculous. The external design of this car is not mandated by their desire to produce a roadgoing F1 car - the F50 was also designed around this ideal, and it does not have the ungainly lines of the F60 (not that it is the greatest-looking car ever either). This is an ugly car, plain and simple, and it did not have to be this way. Remember, McLaren is also an F1 chassis builder, and their road car is gorgeous.

To answer your question, no, I would not want to drive an F1 car (or an F60) to work - it would be incredibly stressful and less fun than driving a less-extreme GT car (like a 911 or M3) around town due to its extreme expense and intolerance for driveways, road seams, and other of life's realities.

<< You guys have no taste. This car is sweet. >>

I don't agree that there is a right and wrong when it comes to taste - you are certainly no more right about its looks than those of us who dislike it. That said, I imagine this is one car that, like the Aztek, will achieve consensus among the automotive press as a just-plain-ugly automobile.
