<< People have to remember that drving the f60 is supposed to be as close to and F1 car as has every been built. That is why the car looks that way. Stop complaining. You guys wouldn't want to drive an F1 car to work? >>
This is ridiculous. The external design of this car is not mandated by their desire to produce a roadgoing F1 car - the F50 was also designed around this ideal, and it does not have the ungainly lines of the F60 (not that it is the greatest-looking car ever either). This is an ugly car, plain and simple, and it did not have to be this way. Remember, McLaren is also an F1 chassis builder, and their road car is gorgeous.
To answer your question, no, I would not want to drive an F1 car (or an F60) to work - it would be incredibly stressful and less fun than driving a less-extreme GT car (like a 911 or M3) around town due to its extreme expense and intolerance for driveways, road seams, and other of life's realities.
