meh I was hoping the top pic didn't look awkward from all the shooping.
I did make his pupils much more dilated than they are. But I lowered the contrast to increase the dynamic range.

You know what I think it is, I think it's the shadow from the window screen falling on the cats face that does it. It creates this odd regular pattern on his face.

My cat decided it was a good idea to crawl into an anti-static bag I left on the floor:

My kids have a Pirates of the Caribbean theme going for naming our cats. We already have a Will and Jack, so our new kitten (seen here playing in the leaves yesterday) has been named Davy Jones. Commodore Norrington was briefly considered too.
 
Cougar. He's 11, fat and slow!

Also known as

John Cougar Meloncat (self explanatory)
Godzilla (He used to come out from around corners and charge you on his hind legs, latch on to your leg, bite, and then run)
