I could be wrong, it's happened before, and I hope it happens this time, but I think everyone is building themselves up for a let down tonight. Anyone looking for a review of an actual board tonight is in for a disappointment. From all the leaked/non-leaked articles it looks like all we are going to get tonight is the same 300 page pre-prepared Matrox press release covering all the features we already know about, containing the same pictures we've already seen, and the same diagrams seen before as well. None of the articles mention the most imprtant non confirmed bits of info, performance, price and release date.

Very good point. Although, I myself have refrained from reading in depth the reviews of Parhelia so far, many have read them and tomorrow will be nothing really new, just more opinions about it.

Pariah is right...given that the only silicon pics of the Parhelia we have seen yet is with a big honking HSF on it, there's no way that we'll be seeing site reviews yet. So just be prepared for the usual PR blitz.

thats the info thats all going to be released soon I hope


and hey, what can I say I'm a matrox fan and if it beats my g400 I'm ok with it, if it beats the geforce2 I'm happy :) see, it takes so little to make us happy :D

Just reading some confirmed info will be fine with me. I too have been avoiding the rumor mill and awaiting the facts. Some confirmed release dates would be nice too as well as the initial card offerings that will be available.

I wouldn't expect anything more then a preview. Not any benches. Would be nice to see some though.

Well its 11:30 EST, so who knows. I'll be up til 1:30 EST and I'm making sure I check periodically to see if anands tech. preview is up

Can anyone tell me if it's any faster than my Virge-VX? Note it's VX so it'll take something to beat my video card. My card can do about 1 fps for GL-Quake so if this new Matrox card can do more than 2 fps I'll definitely upgrade my card when it comes out.
