Official: OSU vs. USC

so, ill be at a wedding reception, trying desperately to find a TV, but i have my ipod with me, so ill be able to post in here while watching the scores come across on my score app... anyways... start the trash talkin

GO Bucks beat the blowjans

Its too bad you can't have a tie score to end a college football game. I hate both of these teams and wish neither could win or lose this game. Though a tie in this game would be a huge win for OSU. 😛

I was at the game last year and had a good laugh at all the buckeyes leaving at the half.

Should be a good game. OSU better take this opportunity to finally beat a top 10 team, because it's a good one. OSU plays at home against a freshman QB. If OSU loses it will be a big embarrassment even by OSU standards.

I'm rootin for USC.

I hope USC beats OSU so they can come to Cal later and lose 😀

GO BEARS!

and OSU can beat USC. And then Cal can beat USC. And then we can finally have a year where people stop hyping USC.
That would be lovely. 🙂

if theres a bcs conference worse than the big 10, its the pac 10, and the reason the pac10 might be better is because it has USC, and thats it

Another SEC fan falling for the BS of the BCS and the self-fulfilling prophecy that is the most overrated conference in history?

Bolded to exemplify the LULZ.

Big 10 is by far the most overrated conference. And it has been that way for like 6 years now. Its a joke

See, and there is the funny part. The reason the Big 10 gets so much publicity and gets to go to so many bowls is because they have such a strong fanbase. It is purely numbers. Frankly, people just like toughnose football and if they wanted to watch a bunch of skinny bitches running around pulling trick plays, they'd watch the NFL.
Fandom in the Big 10 is rabid. Same goes for ND, who usually plays shitty teams all year with a bad record in no conference and still makes it to bowls. Why, because it is good old fashion college football. It is not surprising that each year the bowls with the most viewership are often Big 10 games. Same reason why every week a Big 10 game is on national tv at the coveted 8pm spot.

Every game, the stadiums are packed, tailgates run for hours, every radio station in a 100 mile radius picks up the game, and people stop what they are doing to watch on TV. Advertisers recognize this. They aren't stupid.

You may now go back to sulking about your team not getting any respect. Maybe if your shitty teams had more fans, they'd get some more credit. In the long run, it all comes down to the fact that we are more loyal and much, much bigger.

What the hell does the fanbase have to do with the quality of football?

Hey, I can't tell you ever reason why people enjoy watching Penn State, OSU, Michigan, ND, etc. play. The fact is that they just do. A couple thousand more than everyone else.
