He was talking about it during SportsCenter tonight. He said he was conviced that Michigan was going to win until today when he got his rental car and it had Ohio plates.

Well, then, thats not so bad, when he "analyzed" the game, he thought UM was going to win. Thats enough for me

The only way I see Michigan losing is one of two ways - turnovers or special teams breakdowns. OSU has a hyped up defense but noone is paying attention to the fact that Michigan's is right behind them in national rank. And the fact that a 3rd string Wisconsin back put up 130+ yards on that "legendary" run D. And the only reason Michigan's run D is behind is because we played Minnesota with the #1 rushing attack in the nation (and OSU didn't).

And there's no comparison on offense - OSU has no running game and an anemic passing game at best. Michigan has one of the most balanced offenses in the nation with arguably the best recieving corps in the country, a hot QB, one of the best O-lines in the nation, and a heisman candidate RB.

I know that OSU "finds ways to win" but I don't see it happening this time.

I was at that game (UW Madison student) and we put 130+ yards because it was fuc#ing raining--we ran the ball over 80% of the time, so by that logic 130 yards was low. We only beat OS because of the rain, our pass defense is sh!t and the rain stopped OS from putting it in the air. So your basis is faulty. 130 rushing yards allowed by a team that runs the ball as much as wisconsin is a good rushing defense.

I'm not a pesimist about my team, im a realist. Furthermore, i have been going to the UW games for longer than i can remember (father is an alumnia and has 8 season tickets for over 20 years). UW's best pass defense is the rain, heavy wind, or the other team having a bad quarterback. Without outsanding players like lenard, our pass defense would be a joke.

I believe it will be a very close game, i hope OS wins only so that the big ten can represent in the BC championship; if michigan was #2 and OS was #8 i would cheer for michigan.

Wouldn't a four team playoff of Oklahoma, LSU, USC, and Michigan be nice this year... Man, how I hate the BCS...

wow. after only 20 minutes, OSU already has five first downs. and that D!! awesome! they may, MAY, hold Michigan under 600 yards. and people wondered why everyone with a brain thought they were overrated. play no one, always at home, and continue to get flukey wins. Purdue? MSU? Iowa? suck, suck, suck. big 10-(other than Michigan when Navarre isn't doing his best Grbac imitation) SUCK! Oklahoma would put a beating on OSU they would never forget. oh, that's right, the Big 10 bought themselves out of the contracts with most of the Big 12. for God's sake, Iowa ST. has been dominating Iowa now. when one of the worst teams in the Big 12 has a five year winning streak against one of the "better" big 10 teams, that tells you something right there.

are you gonna now say that Tampa Bay also "deserves a chance" to defend their super bowl championship?
