They gave out a 8.5 x 11" sheet with all of the Thanksgiving rebates on it. A pdf is just as good though b.c. less paper to keep up with.
For those that got the CDRW - have you flashed the drive to the latest firmware? Mine came with 120M and based on cdinfo, there is a new 140M.

EDIT: Here is another review (CDrlabs). It doesn't seem like a bad drive at all, especially for the price 😀

Well, it certainly isn't "hot." It's more than $0.50/GB and I'm sure more drives (which can be ordered online) will be offered in the next few weeks. That way, you can use a coupon and drop the price down. There are a couple of threads with old/expired HD deals that show what deals will possibly be available.
 
i bought some products that had BOTH an OM rebate and a manufacturer's rebate...

however, they only gave one rebate receipt...

do you know if i need to get another receipt? or can i just use a copy for the OM rebate?

crap, i jsut spoke to customer care....they say that OM will accept a copy of the UPC if there is a corresponding manufacturers rebate, but they say that i still have to submit an ORIGINAL rebate receipt. tehy say i have to go back to the store and have them print out another one.

OM has a few items linked from their homepage, notibly the Khypermedia CDRW drive is FAR online. The memory wasn't showing the instant rebate though and I couldn't find the $30 off WITH a rebate either, i'm apathetic about it at this point in the day.

Their 'site has been really flaky today, I received my order confirmation email before the website even showed a completed order.. it's still hung on "processing your order" page.... never did get past that page, kept having to refresh the whole time after several minutes wait.

LOL! I went back to their homepage to get a link for the CDRW drive, and POOF, it vanished... maybe on the 'site still, try Ordering by Item Number 20326452

I F-ing love this. At the top part of that page, under option number 2, it says: "Click the button below for a complete listing of these offers. To receive this exclusive pricing at our stores, you must print this list and present it when checking out." Gee, that seems kind of strange thing to do. Why would I do that, if, as OfficeMax's (and Staples' too, to be fair), salesdroids' have repeatedly told me, "OfficeMax and officemax.com are not the same store". I have half a mind to print those pages out, and then pick out those items, put them in a cart, take them to the checkout, and then just as they are in the process of ringing things up, show them the printout of the ads, and then tell them that "I'm sorry, I guess I must have been confused. I forgot that OfficeMax and officemax.com were seperate stores. I guess I can't buy these items here, for these prices." And then just walk out, leaving the items at the check-out counter. To really get their goat, include a few high-priced, non-sale items in your check-out pile. Time to show these retailers than bullsh1t is NOT ACCEPTABLE to the consumer. It's time to fight back. They want to decieve and mislead, and manipulate you, into coming into their stores? Let's give them a taste of their own medicine.

Any further word on this? All but one of the items I bought as part of this sale have two rebates, yet I only got one rebate receipt per item. Do I really have to go back to the store to get another set of rebate receipts? (I'm worried that they're simply going to tell me they have abslutely no way to print receipt for yesterday's sale)

I always send copies of receipt and UPCs to OfficeMax, never have any problem; however, I do put a note stating two rebates issues. One problem I ever had was postmark too late.
 
Anyone bought FAR 100 pack Slim Jewel Case? I just noticed that I paid $19.99 for it instead of $8. The 11.99IR is not shown up for me. Anyone has the same problem? The case's brand is Value Disc instead of Khypermedia. Did I take the wrong one? But it was placed among those FAR items on the table. 🙁

I got the 100 pack cd-rs but for the rebate the upc doesn't match up. They are the same brand and everything though. Hope they accept it.

I purchased the Khypermedia CD-RW during the Thanksgiving sale. I
notice that there are 2 rebate forms for the item - an $8 rebate being
offered by Khypermedia and a $40 being offered by OfficeMax. Both
rebates request the original UPC and receipt. Since I only have one of
each, is it ok to send a copy of the UPC and receipt along with the
OfficeMax rebate form? Thanks for your help!

It's available for online submission through Easierrebates. The link to the form on the OfficeMax website seems to be broken. If you want the hard copy, PM me and I can send it to you.
 
I'm having a heck of a time finding the manufacturer rebates from Officemax Black Friday deals. The store (Office Max) rebates are all there, but they just link to rebatesHQ, and a search turns up none of the Black Friday deals?

Specifically, I'm looking for these rebates:
GE Universal 8 device remote $15 - 15 MIR = free
Novimax LEather Office Chair $49.99 - 30 MIR = 19.99
Avery 4"x6" Glossy Photo Printer Papr $9.99 - 9.99 MIR = free
iConcepts 11 piece PC tool kit $7 - 7MIR = free

This being my 13th day of my 14 days to postmark some of these, I be panickin'
I've called and fought(always nice at 1st) with several CSR's and finally got faxed(they don't DO email :| ) some copys of a couple rebate forms that look like ASS (because of fax).
