any idea if I can get both DVD+R and DVD-R after rebate?
The DDR memory is a good deal too, I've been waiting for FAR memory for quite a while now.

It looks to that you can get both the +R and -R. The OM rebate form lists them separately and the Khypermedia rebate form says "AND/OR" between the 2.

I hope they actually stock some of this stuff. I used to work at staples and when we had a big sale like this, for some things we only had like 2 for sale :(

I just wanted to warn anyone considering the Digitrex 2.0 MegaPixel camera for $49.99 after rebates. I went through two of them before giving up and getting a refund. The camera is awful. It looks great, but the two I tried continously "Froze" much like a computer. The only way to get it to respond was to remove the batteries (essentially "rebooting" it). Also annoying was dust easily got under the plastic covering the LCD, so it you find yourself staring at little white dots on the screen. Also when I used it with 2100 mAh rechargeable batteries, the flash seemed to have a hard time coming on when it was supposed to.

Ok, I paid a little more for mine (before OM was kind enough to let me return it), but still even for $50 I don't think it's worth it. :(

I have the visioneer 6600. Works good. The 7100 has better specs than mine, so it should be just fine. For $10 how can you go wrong? I might get it myself.

I was considering it, too; however, the user reviews I found weren't very good. Bottom line - it's a good cheap scanner.

Online ad says stores open at 7; however, the one in the paper (for my area at least) says 6am.

Lots of FAR items, the best of which is probably the 64 MB USB drive and CDRW (likely a BenQ)

I F-ing love this. At the top part of that page, under option number 2, it says:
"Click the button below for a complete listing of these offers. To receive this exclusive pricing at our stores, you must print this list and present it when checking out."

Gee, that seems kind of strange thing to do. Why would I do that, if, as OfficeMax's (and Staples' too, to be fair), salesdroids' have repeatedly told me, "OfficeMax and officemax.com are not the same store".

I have half a mind to print those pages out, and then pick out those items, put them in a cart, take them to the checkout, and then just as they are in the process of ringing things up, show them the printout of the ads, and then tell them that "I'm sorry, I guess I must have been confused. I forgot that OfficeMax and officemax.com were seperate stores. I guess I can't buy these items here, for these prices." And then just walk out, leaving the items at the check-out counter.

To really get their goat, include a few high-priced, non-sale items in your check-out pile.

Time to show these retailers than bullsh1t is NOT ACCEPTABLE to the consumer. It's time to fight back. They want to decieve and mislead, and manipulate you, into coming into their stores? Let's give them a taste of their own medicine.

Yes, it would. And what better block of time to waste, of theirs, but on the start of Black Friday sales? Especially amid all of the other craziness about. Think about it, they have to put away and secure all of the items that your *carefully* left in the cart and on the checkout isle.

Edit: It would serve them right, for decieving people, and wasting their time, coming in to the store, promising deals that "don't exist".

those prices are good both days right? I've pre-purchased the DDR and USB drive so I can go get the price adjusted (return/rebuy) any time today or tomorrow?

well I just got back with my free kingston 256meg ddr stick. If this helps any the only thing on the chips is 32x8 DDR-7-T. All the stickers say pc2100 but is there any way to tell if its the better stuff by those? I'd just clock it at 166mhz to find out but my board doesn't go that high yet :).

Got the DDR, 52x cd-rw, vhs tapes and 100 pack of cdr's. I think the burner is a rebadged benq. It seems really quiet and pretty fast so far. My ram had no brand on the chips either, never seen that before.

Slapped the memory in and Sandra is calling it PC2100. It crashed my box booting into windows at 145mhz but I do have 2 other sticks in it. They worked at 145mhz but 3 may just be too much for my board.

Sandra is calling it
Kingston KVR266x64c25256 00102f01 8x(32mx8) ddr-sdram pc2100u-2533-750 (cl2.5 up to 133mhz)(cl2 up to 100mhz)

Oh well if nothing else I have a gig till I upgrade and then I can throw this in my HTPC
