Overall I thought the Nintendo press conference was better than Microsoft...they showed some new titles I didn't know about (but had heard rumors) and expanded upon already known titles.

I'm excited for Zelda, Kirby, Donkey Kong, golden Sun, DQIX, MGS, Batman, Kid Icarus, Paper mario, Resident Evil, Etrian Odyssey, Shin Megami Tensei, and Bomberman.

I'm am having trepidations about the Wii controls for the new Zelda game. Even the presenters were having problems controlling the game.

I'm also not looking forward to plunking down cash for a Nintendo 3DS, but I guess it's unavoidable. It has been a while since the DS, but the periodic "updates" make me feel like the DS is still new.

Meh, it's not for a while anyway.

I think the 3DS sounds great. Nintendo just seems to have a way of presenting things in a boring manner. Graphics look on par with the Gamecube/Wii, has an analog nub, bigger focus on online and networking, 3D screen (widescreen) without glasses (with the ability to adjust its strength, even to off), ability to take 3D pictures, accelerometer and gyroscope, and the list of games coming to it look solid. There's a lot of BIG names, like MGS. I REALLY didn't expect that.

It sounds like the 3DS will have a lot of hardcore and casual games, which is the best of both worlds.

It's perked my interest. I never liked the DS. I bought one used after everyone raved about it but I never could find any games I liked. Far too casual, too kiddie. I'm just hanging onto it for Okamiden.

The 3DS supposedly has near Wii/Gamecube quality graphics. So it's finally up to par with the PSP at the vary least on that front. If they have a good mix of more adult games, I might consider it. Depends on the price though.

What are the current rumors about the Sony conference? Anything major we "might" hear about?

If half of the damn thing focuses on Move I'm going to nerdrage...

Good conference. 3ds looks awesome. Kid Icarus looks sick.

Donkey Kong Country wii -- awesome.

Ssf4 and saints row on 3ds cool shit.

Zelda wii Meh we'll see

holy

fucking

shit

Zelda: OoT and StarFox 64 (if there's seamless wireless multiplayer and/or co-op, holy shit that would be the best ever) remakes for the 3DS, I'm sold already.

just want to say that as much of a wii hater as i am and hate the gimmicky controls of it, i am going to be buying another one very soon simply because of DKC:Returns. (sold my launch unit a while after i bought it)

i know there are other good games as well, played NSMB at my nephews house, and saw TvC which was also pretty badass, and Mario Galaxy I played and loved so I'm sure MG2 is just more of the same which is good.

so i'm going to buy one the week after i get back from San Diego probably around July 10th. I almost jumped on the black summer pack deal from Dell but I really don't want to spend $200 before I go on my trip.

but i still think it sucks!!!!
