OFFICIAL Nintendo E3 Press Conference Thread

Is it just me or has this E3 as a whole been pretty weak thus far? Mayhaps Sony can inject some life into it...

If they play this like just another DS version, I'll be disappointed. If it costs more than $180, I'll be disappointed. I'm really setting myself up for failure here, aren't I? 😀

Overall I thought Nintendo had a pretty strong conference, especially compared to the travesties of the past. The new Zelda demo didn't go over so well but they announced some new (promising) games we didn't know about and that's all I can ask for. I wish Microsoft would have done the same.

Also, if the new Zelda is still recycling the exact same Link movement from Ocarina of Time, as Twilight Princess did, I might just scream.

I agree, DK looks like itll be really fun if it keeps the spirit of the original going. i loved that game. Metroid games IMO are always worth playing and that kirby game while very kidish and cartoony will prob be very fun to play. Epic mickey will prob also be fun im not jot a mickey fan but the concept looks solid

I didn't watch the conference, but read through the thread. Sounds disappointing. The only thing of interest might be the Metroid game, but it definitely would not be a day one purchase. Nothing else is remotely interesting to me.

Yea, the Nintendo conference started really slow, but it picked up.

I said earlier that they're not selling me on a new Wii, but after seeing DKC and Metroid, I'm definitely interested.

As for the 3DS, I'm not sure yet. I have to see it in person first, as I'm not to keen on the 3D craze. I'm more interesting in pricing and release date at this moment.
