WOOHOO! I was upset after blowing a 3-1 lead on Sunday. Teppo came back and played about 4 minutes in the first, but it was essentially 5 defensemen the entire game. LET'S GO BUFFALO!

It's pretty much a win-win for everyone. It really is too bad the 7th game will be in Raleigh since Buffalo fans are so much more hockey crazy!

Although, I can't complain when I see those Hurricanes cheerleaders :p

Holy Crap!!

Welcome to the least watched Stanley Cup finals since....

I really don't know. I was gonna be witty but I could less than a wet beer fart for both of these teams.

Edmonton: err... we hope those refs come to the Finals I would guess
Carolina: I dislike the South; having the NASCAR state win the Stanley Cup makes me want to puke; I can feel my guts churning. I like Brind'Amour and especially Weight, but I have this vision in my head:

Think of those 2 hillbillies from The Simpsons - 'male moron' Hey, we here gotz this purty cup cuz wez the best at that icey thingy. Female moron is washing one of several double-digit IQ babies in the Stanley Cup. The soap consists of laudry detergent and Busch beer.

I shallst not watch the finals. I guess that I hope that Carolina loses. I sure do like Weight though.

Well another ****** season down the ****** tubes. Buffalo will never ever win a cup in my lifetime.

Yay, carolina in the cup finals, too bad they cant even fill up the arena.

What I hate the worst about losing is when people say "oh at least they played hard and played a great game!".
Yea, so ****** what, they lost. There is no merit to losing, no matter how well you played. Now they can play hard, on the golf course.

I totally love hockey, but I won't be watching this series.

At least it?s not another Anaheim trap vs. NJ trap finals. Two fast skating hard hitting teams going at it in the finals. It?s going be a good series.


On another note, Don Cherry was saying all year long the blanket penalty for shooting the puck over the glass is going to cost someone the cup... he may be right on this one, and that irritates me.

Oh, and I also disagree with you on that point. I think this final will generate fantastic ratings north of the border. Obviously it will never unseat NASCAR in the land of the free, but I recall another Alberta team which had an entire country's support not too long ago as well ;)

This is no different. BRING THE CUP BACK TO CANADA!!!

Well, seeing as my golden team in my playoff pool is out.....I'd really like to see the Oilers win.....but in 7 high scoring games of which Justin Williams gets many many points (all for the pool)

Mabey the last two games. Though the rest of the series they had hundreds if not reaching thousands of open tickets all the way to game time.
In their series before that you could see rows of empty seats.

Hell, my friend went down there for a game, walked up to the counter an hour before game time and bought 100 level seats.

Carolina doesn't give a sh!t about hockey. In the later stages of the game the corporate customers buy up tickets and give them out and then many fans jump on the bandwagon.
Carolina is anything but a sellout crowd.
