If the Canucks lose tonight, I hope the Hawks can rest easy knowing they're versing the Sharks.

Anything to keep the heat off the great choke artist I suppose...

If he had sat on his ass and did nothing in the stats column in any important tourneys/playoff rounds I'd agree with you. Anything he hasn't done his team hasn't helped. What more can a winger do?

But you guys keep holding onto that if it makes you believe who the better hockey player is. It's a good thing you guys got Malkin.

Proof? Ovi never shows up when his team needs him most. Where was he in game 7 last year when crosby and the pens rolled through the caps on home ice.

This shows exactly how little you know. That game 7 when they were down 5-0, Ovechkin raced and beat everybody to the puck near Fleury to score the 1 goal. 5-0 late in the game and he still puts out 100%. He showed up... nobody else did. There's only so much 1 guy can do.

And it's funny you talk about points when the guy racks up assists for a living... you do know how much easier those are right? 1 year he scores 1 more goal (in 9 more games) and all of a sudden he's equal in your eyes I'm sure.

Better the sharks then the Wings for us. The Wings are deep and I am surprised it only went 5 games. That and the Wings always seem to be able to pick us apart.

That depth sure helped against the Sharks. None the less, the Oil are probably going to be a bit better next year, i'll drop back to my hometown team.

Good run Canucks, you played well.

So here are where my Predictions are lying for the remainder of the playoffs.

Boston and Montreal ECF -------> Boston in 7

San Jose and Chicago WCF ---------> Sharks in 5

Cup Final

San Jose in 6 or 7.

If Montreal makes it through and plays Boston, I don't see them losing to the Boston Byes in a playoff.

Next Season, the Cup belongs to the Canucks!

Hodgson is going to be the next Naslund for the Canucks. Only way the Canucks can fuck up right now is if they don't sign Raymond, that guy is going to be Zach Parise status in 2 years or so. They also got that Jordan Schroeder prospect from team usa who's going to be killer.

Canucks HAVE TO beef up their defence, if Mitchell doesnt sign, they're done. Hamhuis or Volchenkov gogo.

I really like Raymond too. Early in the Season I predicted he would get a Hat Trick this Season, month or 2 later he made me look like a genius! :D

I'm beginning to wonder if Mitchell will ever play again. This has been a very long recovery.
