Real time box score just changed to Final and 4-3 HABS. Another Game 7 on the way.

:)

I'll be in Singapore and will have to see if I can find a palce that will be showing the game. Game will start 7 AM local time.

Serious question, will Canadian fans root for the other remaining Canadian teams when their team is eliminated? Or do you guys just hate the Pens as bad as we (Flyers fans) do?

Thanks for the link.

I lived in Singapore for 3 years. It will have to be a bar somewhere unless on of the sports channels plays the game because it is game 7. Or I can stream it over the internet, I guess.

I don't hate the Pens. I just think there are more deserving teams.

I cheer for Montreal because I was born there and grew up there. I also cheer for San Jose as I lived in the area for about 10 years and have been to many games (my kids cheer for the Sharks).

If both are eliminated, I typically don't care much. Usually I pick a team to "support", but I'm a Habs fan. I only cheer for "Canada" when it is Team Canada. I know places like NYC and Boston 100 x as much as I know Calgary and Vancouver, so I don't have any special affection for them just because I'm Canadian.

Bruins did not show up today at all.

I missed the Boucher injury, but good luck to him.

After the game, the report was sprained MCL in both knees. They interviewed him - he looked upset, almost like he was going to cry.

I think his career is done. It's not like he had much time left, but what a horrible way for it to end.

I confess, I hadn't actually heard the whole song before...I kind of like it.

What the Blackhawks organization has done is taking an otherwise good song and turn a part of it into a vile evil thing. They have out goebbeled Goebbels! Congrats?:D

Hahaha. I suppose if I wasn't a fan, I would hate it too. That being said, I am still amazed at how quickly the Blackhawks have turned the entire organization around in such a short timespan. Putting them back on TV was huge, but little things like this song and not raising ticket prices to insane levels certainly helps. Us people in Chicago have been starved of quality hockey for too long, so please tolerate us enjoying it. :)

Ya, Chicago seemed like the team that would suck perpetually. They did it for a couple decades at least. IIRC, when I was a kid back in the '70's they were fairly decent, then somewhere in the '80's they just started to suck.

Flyers and Habs win! If the Habs beat the Pens it would be unreal. Flyers force a 0-3 game 6 for the first time in history.

As an aside from ESPN: <<<The Bruins went head-to-head with Red Sox-Yankees and Celtics-Cavaliers and averaged an 8.3 local rating on Versus, the Red Sox a 6.3 local rating on NESN and the Celtics a 4.1 local rating on ESPN.>>> Hockey is kicking the sht out of the NBA.

i went to Montreal for a game this year, so they are kind of my playoff team now. I don't give a rat's about the Canucks.

Habs/Bruins please :)

The pens sure self destructed last night. They completely dominated for most of the first half, and then nothing.

I have a feeling they'll probably lose game 7.

Yep, Halak even let in that soft goal vs Letang. I didn't think he was that sharp but the Habs went apesht crazy late in the 2nd and pitched a tent in the Pens O-Zone. You don't see that too often for the Habs.

Any word on Hal Gill? Crosby actually scored a goal now that Gill was out. Hey Pen fans, where are the excuses for Sid and where is the Ovechkin shit talking now? Ovi had 5 goals, 10 points, 34 SoG vs Montreal's sick d of Gill/Georges. Cindy has 1 goal (when Gill was out), 5 points (2 when Gill was out), and 12 SoG. Malkin, 1 goal and 3 points. /crickets

You can thank Scotty Bowman for turning the 'Hawks around. The same guy that built up the Red Wings in the late 90's He went from an awesome coach to an awesome front office guy.

One other stat about Crosby... up until last night he hadn't scored since Game 5 vs Ottawa, exactly 170 shifts and 136:20 of ice time. Habs need Hal Gill back for more utter dominance in Game 7.
