Not really. They had pulled the goalie to tie it up anyway. Weren't they even working a pp, so it was 6 on 4? I don't remember.

It was 4-2. Sedin's disallowed goal would have made it 4-3. The following goal would have made it 4-4 early in the 3rd.

I know you can't say that you can just add on another goal and say that the 4-4 goal would have happened, but you also can't say that the missed goal wouldn't have mattered because they lost by 2 using the same logic.

I didn't watch the game first hand so I'll admit I'm just mouth-breathing here : but the feeling I got from comments about the game was it could have turned the game around, but probably wouldn't have.

Yes it sucked it was disallowed and in retrospect it shouldn't have been per the NHL's comments/rulebook. But there were other things that were more costly in that game. Having gone 0/3 on the PK was probably far more costly and there's no fault on the war room for that.

Not to say the botch called was irrelevant/doesn't matter -you definitely got screwed on that one. But I wouldn't say a disallowed goal in a game you weren't doing particularly well in to begin with isn't quite on par with having one (if not your best) dman somehow score on your goalie from the goal line on a backhanded wraparound attempt in overtime in a game where you took 50 shots.

Of course Dominato3r could be referring to some other fluke goal, he hasn't said.

I don't want the canucks to win it all (I'd obviously like the sharks to do that), but I hope they are around for a bit so we can see more of these guys : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkXvwG8xKJI&feature=related

Yea I posted it earlier, but I still chuckle at what they do to Jack Johnson and Justin Williams (QQ).

Yeah, the simple fact is that we'll never know. It could have swung things around or it could have led to the same result.

I understand that. But even given that, it would have been 5-4. If you're implying that had the game been at 4-4 the kings wouldn't have scored their 5th, then I don't know what to say.

What I CAN say is that even though it was only 5-3, the canucks played the last 1:30 with a 6 on 4 situation and couldn't get it done. Not even a goal. If you think that means they could have won still, I don't know what to say.

But tallbill is right, we'll never know. All the nucks can do is play their ass off tonight and try to get it done. I think they'll be pissed and come out swinging. I also think that if the kings can keep them contained for the first 10 minutes, that will sap some of their morale. And they're hosed period unless the canucks PK can grab its ass with either hand.

Canucks are the come back kings. If you don't think they wouldve come back, you probably don't know much about the Canucks play, and what they've done this season. To say they wouldn't have come back is naive. Then again, i doubt any of you trashing the Canucks have ever watched them play.

You don't seem to grasp the concept of momentum, and how it can turn the game around. I'd also like to point out that if the Canucks PK improves the Kings lost. 7/10 of the kings goals are on the PP, and 2 of the 5on5 goals included a 3on1 situation and one was a fluke goal that shouldnt have gone in.

Wow, could the Habs fans be any more annoying? They boo at least every 20 secs expecting a penalty.

Habs fans are horrible. They boo the American Anthem, and then sing the Canadian Anthem like it's the second coming of Jesus. Makes my blood boil.

Boston vs. Buffalo, the fans are alternating between chanting "Let's go Bruins" and something else. Can anybody figure out what the hell the other chant is? Commentators are saying they're taunting Miller.

Canucks/Kings game might not start on time because of Buffalo/Boston OT. None the less intense game in Boston right now.

Interesting. A team had too many players on the ice and they were whistled for a penalty. After watching game 1 of the Devils Flyers series, I didn't realize that could happen.

So the more I watch the Kings, the more I love them. I mean seriously, how could you not? You have a guy named Anze Kopitar. A goalie named QUICK. A team that is DEADLY on power play. I mean, is it pretty much a given that power play = goal? Doughty is a phenomenal defenseman. They are just a very fun team to watch! If my lightning aren't in the dance, I guess I root for the Kings!

Apparently it has happened THIRTEEN times so far in the playoffs. WTF?! That can't be normal. How much are these guys paid, surely they can't count that high.

Oh Beiksa, How i love the way you pull the puck out of the goalies glove =]. Canucks penalty kill is a lot better, they actually have a guy deep in their zone to fish for the dump in now.

My guess is that they're calling it more strictly than they used to. I seem to remember them only calling it when the puck touched one of the players that was changing. Now if you jump on the ice and realize there are too many players and jump right back off, they whistle it.

I don't agree with it, it's confusing enough trying to change on the fly, if a player realizes that there are six on the ice and jumps back off the ice before joining the play, they need to let it go. Christ, it decided the game in Boston.

Don't go on until your guy is off, not that hard...
