Woo, another summer of hoping miraculous trades and signings occur, against all odds.

More likely, not much will happen, and another atrocious season awaits. D:

The UFA pool for pieces the Kings need is pretty terrible, so I guess I'll just keep enjoying that fancy cup. :awe:

Poor team, how will they ever make it again. 🙄
Haha, Kings looks like they're going to be fighting the Hawks in the Western finals for quite some time, actually.

Reserving my spot on Yonge Street for the Leafs Stanley Cup parade....
Ahaha, at least your team was close to making the playoffs last year. :sneaky:

lol, i'm a Wing's fan surrounded by Leaf fan's

Pretty active month for MacT.
Overpaid for Nikitin. (Only way to get him here for a two-year deal.)

And Gagner gone for Purcell.

Like the Draisaitl pick in the draft. Not sure about the rest. A goalie, in the seventh round?!

Cap isn't as high as most were hoping. Some teams are going to have to make some hard choices. It should be interesting, but it is still going to be torture waiting for opening day.

Why Vancouver is after Ryan Miller leaves me thinking wtf, unless they think they can sign him suuuuuper cheaply. Or maybe very short term.

And Iginla apparently. Makes no sense. If you are going to re-build, then freaking re-build and pick-up younger assets. Don't sign old guys who will cost a lot of money.

Wings look to be trying to sign either Boyle or Ernhoff and for some goddamn reason another contract for Cleary

Love to see either of the D-men in a Wings uniform... Cleary only if the contract is super cheap and super short, with the ability to send him down to Grand Rapids.

Boyle went to the Rangers and Erhoff went to the Pen's, Niskanen maybe?

/instead they resigned Quincey for 2/$8.5

Boston's tight up against the cap. There might not be much happening until the trade deadline. *shrug*

Blackhawks have to make some moves soon since they are $2.2mm over the cap. I'd expect Oduya to get traded for cap space. He does have a modified NTC per capgeek.
Would like to see Bickell get sent off. Come on Talon, don't you want another Chicago player on your team?

Recent highlights;

-Toews & Kane got paid.
-Detroit re-signed Dan Cleary.
-The Avs gave Iginla 3yrs/$16 million.

do the Hawks duo really deserve that much money? I know Crosby and Ovechkin got theirs, but 10mil, each? Or is it just natural progression? We'll see $20mil contracts in 10 years? Especially if the sport and its marketing grows?
