Yes, we're all trembling in our boots. Speaking of which, I'm sure Rex would like to film a few trembling boots. Anyway....

It will be a tough game and we're just too beat up at this stage. I hope we find a way to win, but I'm happy we even made the playoffs given all the injuries. I think this is the Patriots' year (damn, that hurt).

Manning vs Sanchez in Indy?...hmm, I'll go with Manning and he ALWAYS gives the Pat's secondary fits, lets face it, we needed a badly thrown ball at the end of the game or he was gonna complete yet another comeback against us. The Ravens and Steelers also finished out strong, should be interesting..

If both teams were healthy, the Jets wouldn't stand a chance. But in our current state, given the fact that Kerry Collins lit up our secondary and Pierre Garcon can barely catch a ball, I'm trying to set my expectations low so if the Colts do win, I'll be pleasantly surprised. 😎

Pierre Garcon has to go. He pisses me off so much.

Going to go with the Packers here. And if they beat Philly it's onto Atlanta. The mystique of their home field was shattered in their loss in week 16 against the Saints. And Green Bay played them tough down there. I would give them a punchers chance to win in the ATL, but who knows from there?

It depends on how beat up we are coming out of the game in Philly. IF we beat the Eagles AND we're lucky enough that no one else gets hurt in that game, we might make some noise.

An impressive Defense (keeping Devon Hester to just one or two catches all day is a major accomplishment!) with an offense that can put points on the board...we've got a shot. And for those people who thought that the Bears were going to lie down, Devon Hester on the Jim Rome Show today confirmed that they wanted to keep Green Bay out of the playoffs. As Bishop said in the locker room, "They done screwed up now. They let us in the tournament."

For the record the rest of my pics are the Jets, Ravens, and Saints.

They miss Collie big time,can he be back in time for playoff's or has he had one concussion too many?.

lying down would have been sitting players, some who should have sat.

lovie really done screwed up and so did martz. shoulda ran forte all of the second half

the way the colts beat the jets last year was constantly tossing 5 guys out into patterns, and the jets either kept it close or took the lead over most of the game till they started having dbs go out. with a couple db additions this year along with 2 of the top three targets for indy being out makes this a very interesting game.

I just want the Seachickens to beat the Saints, their fans are becoming as annoying as the jest's fans. Who dat getting beat down?

Manning is 5-1 against Ryan when Ryan was with the Ravens or the Jets. The one loss was the game we threw away last year. Manning has had issues going up against Cromartie in the past however, and with only one decent receiver (Wayne), we might be in trouble unless Garcon and White step it up.

To put it bluntly, if Ryan can't beat Manning when 1/3 of the team is on IR and we're 3 or 4 levels deep in some positions, he probably isn't going to beat him soon. I'm happy we were able to win the division, so any win beyond this point is just icing on the cake. Given the circumstances, you have to consider this season pretty successful with the exception of the extremely poor defensive play at the beginning of the year when we still had some of our main players.

and the one guy you have to thank for that is the dude in your avatar who kept leading him over the middle in front of charging dbs. 😉

Well, Manning is used to doing that for Clark and before him, Stokely. Collie was just in bad position when he got nailed both times. It is a shame, because I think Collie could be an elite receiver in the league and prior to his first concussion, was leading the NFL in receiving. At any rate, I hope he considers his quality of life. It isn't worth playing if you're going to be brain damaged later in life.

SAT, JAN 8 TIME (ET)
New Orleans at Seattle 4:30 PM
NY Jets at Indianapolis 8:00 PM
SUN, JAN 9
Baltimore at Kansas City 1:00 PM
Green Bay at Philadelphia 4:30 PM

I still take the Pats to win it all - probably end up Falcons vs. Patriots. I'd really like to see a Eagles @ Falcons match-up for the NFC though, so that the Falcons can stuff it down Vick's face.

I doubt that will happen. Aaron Rodger's will likely smoke the eagles' pathetic defense. Vick will need to put up 35 points every game to have a chance.

he might have done that to eli growing up. everytime he nonchalantly throws into double coverage someone needs to go over and make him sniff some ammonium to wake him up.

So tired of patriots steelers colts year after year after year. New blood is needed.

Well, Manning is bound to fade out soon, unless he goes longer than Favre we're looking at ~5 more years, and only a few of those years where he might still be good enough to carry his "team".

Same goes Brady with an added a year or two.

Although Ben is much younger, he will probably wear out faster and have a shorter career due to a lack luster OL he has had to play behind and a more physical play style, but the Steelers were regularly making it to the playoffs and even AFCCG without him.

:thumbsup:

I think everyone knows who other teams don't want to play in the Playoffs. 🙂

With the Ravens, you never know what your going to get.

Destroy New England last year playoffs.
Lose to the Bengals this year.
Cant finish games against bad teams.
Finish games against good teams.
Played great against the Saints.
Only score 13 against an awful Cincy the second time around.

Makes me wonder, I do know that much. They could have their best offensive games in the playoffs. Or they could all just end up shitting on themselves.

Cam Cameron needs to go. Cam is not utilizing the weapons the Ravens have whatsoever. Let Flacco call his own plays. Take off the damn training wheels.

WR's = Boldin / Mason / Housh / Stallworth
TE's = Heap / Pitta / Dickson
RB's = Rice / McGahee / McClain

They better replace his ass after this season regardless of the outcome.
