as much as I don't care for the Eagles, to be fair it wasn't the "team" that called themselves that, it was Vince Young (in a role as a backup QB) who called the team that.

by your argument the Patriots deserve a full pummeling for when Ocho Cinco touted the offense as "Madden-like" without being a part of it

granted, at least the Patriots have had a proven offense for years prior to the statement, and the Eagles "dream team" roster was completely untested as a new unit (and is thus far a testament to a true team trumping group of all-stars) but all that tells us is Chad isn't as dumb as Vince Young, which isn't exactly saying much

Chad hasn't impressed so far and probably pissed off everyone else on the team for the Madden comment. I didn't know it was just VY that made that comment, I stand corrected..

I agree, they get undressed this week. Still a much better team than past years but the Lion's D will make Smith miserable today..
