WTF Carolina lost by 17 points to a bears team whos QB had 4 INTs and a QB rating of 6. Gotta be the lowest QB rating ever to win a game...Though I remember rex grossman having like a 6 turnover game against the cards a few years back, the famous Denny Green tirade game.

Also, Arian Foster...25 yards on 11 carries :(

annnd carson palmer looks turrrible. He was a top 5 QB his first few years (or so) in the NFL, I don't know how he went so far down hill.

he made 1 comment slamming my skins then took off

Any other year, this Redskins team would be mediocre and that's the truth. This year, there is so much parity that you can't tell who is going to win. If I had to rank them now, I'd say the Ravens and Jets are the top teams with maybe the Steelers third. The NFC is just bad. Really bad.

I do expect the Redskins to beat the Colts though. The Colts have been playing awful ball the last several weeks. The only good game they've played was against the Giants. They got lucky against the Broncos.

And believe me, I've been pulling for the Skins this year (except for next week obviously).

I'm pretty sure that since he fumbled it laterally and it was recovered and run in, it counts. If he had fumbled it into the end zone, it would have been down at the 2.

I thought the rule was that the only player that can advance a fumble in that situation is the person who fumbled it. If anyone else recovers, I think it is down.

I think that's only on 4th down. On 1-3, it's pretty much whatever goes as long as you don't intentionally fumble it forward. Besides if it goes sideways/backwards, you could just consider it a lateral.

Offense can't advance a fumble forward. But if the fumbled ball is touched by the defense that's a change of possession and the offense can recover it anywhere including the end zone.

well they give them touchdown with no mention of this rule

The Saints touched the ball somewhere along the way on the big hit on Hall. The Raiders just did the same thing on a stop drop and roll.

Raiders Holy Roller in 1978.
