Excited to see my Vikings go 0-4 this week. Then a bye, then I get to go to the Dome with my Panther's buddies and see the Vikings go 0-5.

Wanna put $20 on it?

Loser pays to winner's charity of choice.

Current line is -4.5. I'll take the Giants and the points at $20 for charity if you're willing to take the other side. I only request the right to vet your charity pick before the bet is official to ensure they're not a sham. Mine would be Toys for Tots

Anyone want to take me up on the bet for Chicago Detroit?

I'll put $20 on Detroit.

hmmmm I got 10 bucks to burn :)

That's the point lost on a lot of people. The Patriots have a system. No Welker or Amendola? Plug in Julian Edelman. The Patriots look at a players salary as well as their performance. Heck, they let go a very good punter in Mesko for a rookie to save a couple of million dollars. Which they used to buy more talent at the end of the line up.

The Patriots have released all pro players because they don't fit the system or they made too much money. And they continue to win year after year.

If Brady goes away within a couple of years they will plug a new QB in and be back to winning.

Brady isnt exactly mediocre, hes fairly accurate, has good pocket presense, and can bomb it. and I hate the patriots btw

Is there a can't miss QB in the draft this year?

a few apparantly

Burleson broke his arm in a car crash this morning. OF COURSE HE DID.

NO MORE LATE-NIGHT MNF PIZZA FOR YOU, NATE.

I've said it before, and I will say it again, nothing good happens in public after 2:00 a.m., especially if you are a pro athlete.

As I was saying:

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9...ved-incident-party-bus-john-harbaugh-confirms

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh confirmed a TMZ report that wide receiver Jacoby Jones, who is rehabbing from a knee injury, was involved in a brawl on a party bus early Monday morning and was hurt when he was hit over the head by a stripper wielding a champagne bottle.

A Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson told The Baltimore Sun that police responded to the incident shortly after 3 a.m. ET and that Jones refused medical treatment and opted not to go to the hospital.

I guess this is my week to right about something:

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9...s-cincinnati-bengals-cited-disorderly-conduct

CINCINNATI -- Bengals cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones was accused by police of making offensive comments while drunk during a traffic stop early Monday and was given a disorderly conduct citation.

Jones, who has had a spate of legal troubles, was issued a citation around 2:30 a.m. after the vehicle he was in was pulled over for driving 60 mph in a 45 mph zone on a highway in Cincinnati, State Patrol Lt. Anne Ralston said.

Broncos vs Eagles, this is going to be an exciting game, if you like fast offense and high scoring game.

Give me chiefs, broncos, and saints: all else would be the first name listed.

Yes, I've always said Brady is a system QB and you seem to agree. Thanks!:thumbsup: :D

Being a NE fan is great, seriously. Even with possibly the worst receiving corps in the league, I still don't have to worry about them not making it to the postseason. Consistency is wonderful

Nonsense. I could definitely see the Patriots missing the playoffs this year

Nuh, uh. Too much of a reach. The Patriots have a system for building a team, not a system of how they play on the field. In fact, the Pats have changed the teams on the field system over the years more than most teams. They were a run first, pass second team in Bradys first years, then turned that around when Brady hit his stride.

The Giants and Steelers are perfect examples of what happens when you pay your qb a lot of money and he's not worth it. With so much money tied up in Eli Manning the Giants have let the O and D lines get old because they couldn't afford to rebuild them. The Pats saved money on receivers but Brady makes the cheap receivers better.

I wouldn't count the Rams out. They show up for divisional games and our offensive has looked nothing short of horrible, coupled with our porous defense, another loss won't surprise me.
