The problem is Brady is playing like he's in 2007 or 2011 when the rest of the team isn't there. That's on the Pats for not making moves to stay competitive. I kinda have to agree with the pregame where they said the Pats were acting like a team doing just enough to keep making the playoffs but not seriously compete for Super Bowls.

What I mean is Brady is playing like he has the receivers and line from those years.

Yea, dumping Mankins 2 weeks before the start of the season to unload his $$ but now you throw greenhorns in there and let Brady take the pounding or last year by not signing Welker after Brady re-negotiated his contract to free up cap space, that's when Brady needed to step up and say "trade my ass if this is what you want to do"..

The shame of it is he still has the skill set to do so, you didn't see Elway flinch when he got PM, he went full-tilt trying to win the SB, I can't explain why they didn't play well but it wasn't because the Broncos owners tried to go the cheap route. People in NE are not stupid and after witnessing this debacle tonight Kraft will start to lose those season-ticket holders as they finally realize he is too cheap a fuck to surround an elite QB with the people he needs, look at what SS has done for the Ravens or what Wallace has done for Miami, we get leftovers who are so pathetic that Tomkins and Dobson (drop-some) were not active for this game, sorry indeed. Now 41-7, sit Brady before one of your el-cheapo lineman gets him beheaded.

OMG. I've never seen NE getting an ass whopping this bad. KC should be bringing out their 3rd string.

I've been watching the Patriots since 1973 and this is the absolute worst I've ever seen, what's puzzling is they had 4-5 season-ending injuries last year and still made it to the AFC championship game where the better team won, now with everybody back they put up a stink-bomb like this?, fuck it, time for a klonopin to blast away this horrific memory LOL..
So you got to see them never once beat Elway ;)

Ladies and Gentlemen, Alex Smith and the Chiefs.

Congrats on a huge win but as you saw the Pat's are no longer an upper-tier AFC team, if they can beat the Colts, Ravens, Bengals or Broncos in a similar fashion that would be a statement.

Baby steps, baby steps. Next up - Alex's homecoming.

Honestly, they seem to have annihilated the Colts last year in the playoff, until they lost all their players to dirty plays injuries. As for Broncos, I don't think anyone will ever say it's a given that Broncos will win their next match. All other teams you mention are just good matches, which I never once think that the Chiefs can't win over those teams.

It will be interesting, I forgot San Diego as well, dogfight's a-plenty in the coming weeks.

The Niners go further with Kaep than Smith, it's been proven.

not really. The Niners were one muffed punt off of Ted Ginn Jr's shin from going to the SuperBowl with Smith. so, one play difference, involving neither QB, makes the difference?

How about that Smith drive against NO that put them in that NFCC game against those Giants?

I've yet to see anything from Kaep that has made them a better team, in all honesty.
