No chance the Eagles win tonight. Their defense is just too bad. Might be a pretty high scoring game. Maybe 38-33?
Bingo, and don't forget the shit defenses many of these QBs are saddled with.
The 9-7 Packers won the super bowl with a horrible running game, and a beaten and bruised Oline in which first 9 games Rodgers was sacked somewhere around the 50 sack mark. (7-9 sacks against the bears early that season... it was hard to watch lol)
The QB position is not the only position on the field, however they are the offensive general, and have the full ability to audible and change the play need be. Their mind is just as important as their arm. Anyone who has watched Peyton Manning should see that he walks under center, looks at the defense, and a good portion of the time calls a small or big audible that beats the defense he sees.

Eagles will win tonight. KC is just not as good as people think they are.
Another good game IMO tonight. Looking forward to see how it shakes up and see if KC can pull one out. I'm taking Philly though
Monday night is going to be a blowout. Terrelle Pryor's last game of the season
Yeah, to be honest, I'm surprised to see dougp defending Romo. I thought he gave that up after last season's meltdown vs. Washington. I'll be honest -- I don't think Romo is a terrible QB by any stretch (though dougp rates him way too highly in the list he presented earlier; I'd take Luck over Romo any day) but he certainly has a mental block that causes him to be crushed under pressure. Maybe he should look into hypnosis.

Yeah, why do you think Jones was eager to resign him? Who was out there? Rumor had it before Stafford was exteneded by Detroit, that he [Jones] was going to pitch to him next season becasue he's a Texas native.
I'd rank him below Eli, and even Rivers, but above Ben.
Jones remembers his illogical infatuation with Quincy Carter and then realizes Romo is the only good QB the Cowboys have had since Aikman. He's afraid to lose him and thinks the problems on the Cowboys run deeper than Romo. I think that's definitely true but you wonder how long Jerry will tolerate the late season meltdowns. Of course, we all know Jerry has played a bigger role in the demise of the Cowboys than anyone -- by my own count, he cost himself a couple of Super Bowl wins by getting rid of Jimmy Johnson and hiring that buffoon Switzer and then the subsequent parade of buffoons after Switzer.
Another person in this thread (don't remember who and too lazy to look) wondered how Garrett survives. It is really simple. JJ will not ever hire a strong-willed head coach again. That's why Jimmy Johnson was shown the door and why Bill Parcells didn't last long. Parcells could've righted the ship had he stayed another couple of years too.

You can't say that Wade Phillips was bad. He was shitcanned before he got a chance. It's almost like Jerry doesn't want to win or something.
I'm still not sure why the media (especially ESPN) is so apoplectic over the Richardson trade. I hope he does well in Indy, but if I were a Brown's fan I'd be clamoring for a tear-down/rebuild after all of the seasons of suckage.
Richardson obviously isn't a game-changer at RB, and the Browns feel like they can get a similar, more explosive back in next year's draft (probably in a later round).
And now they have two first rounders to rebuild the face of the franchise.
You can't say that Wade Phillips was bad. ....
