Jaguars should just tank and get the number 1 draft choice.

Why so they can get Jadeveon Clowney?

Thats going to help their QB position!

Its not like any of the QB's coming out next year are that saving grace, its not a 2012 draft - its more like 2013 as Teddy Bridgewater is just another Geno Smith or EJ Manual, he is no RGIII or Russell Wilson. Tajh Boyd maybe but I still see 2014 as a lot like 2013 where you won't see too many QB's in the first round, if any at all. Too many talents are the other positions

Here's what really made me mad last night:

Announcer: "Geno Smith needs to learn to place that ball better. He has to give his receivers a chance to catch the ball"

Show instant replay and the ball hits the receiver in the chest. Receiver just didn't catch it.

Announcer: "Brady throws a perfect pass. Look at that perfectly thrown ball! His receivers need to make those catches."

Show an instant replay and the ball is 5 feet out of bounds and 10 feet in front of the receiver.

I hate NFL Network games. Its like they try to find the worst announcers and then get them drunk before the game.

I am way late in quoting this, but i noticed this same exact set of plays and was wondering the exact same thing. Brady could do not wrong in the announcers eyes but you would have thought Geno smith was worst to play the game. It was a complete double standard.

As a Packers fan I guess i now know what it felt like for everyone else in the country when Favre would play on monday night football and John Madden would be slobbering all over him.

I would take Boyd or Bridgewater over what they have now by a landslide.

You're implying that the Jags will have to expend effort to tank and get the number one pick. I think that's almost guaranteed as long as they show up every week.

Tampa Bay and Cleveland will be there this year as well. I don't know if they can overtake the Jags for the #1 slot, but I see a top 5 slot coming for both of them.

Yea you forgot Carolina. Not that they need a QB but they will be in the bottom 5 teams if not bottom 2-3. Could even be the worst team

Tampa Bay will not be in the bottom 5 IMO by the time all is said and done.

isn't that football-throwing qb guy that everyone is so gay about heading to the draft this year?

Bridgewater is the one getting all the hype. I will admit to not having seen enough of Louisville to know but I haven't been nearly as impressed as everyone else with what I have seen

SF @ SEA.

# Hits on QBs. I have no problem with a QB who is taking a running/scrambling posture being hit. Nevermind Harbaugh’s hypocricy from the week prior. I do take issue with a sliding QB being forearmed in the head. Willis better get a fine for that—should have been a penalty. It was more than a, “Oh, he is sliding” and incidental contact. He clearly rammed his forearm into his head. Cheap play. If that was Manning or Brady that is a flag. I don’t have issue with a defender making incidental contact due to momentum. But that was clearly a cheap shot.

That wasn't Willis, it was either Brooks or Bowman. Probably Bowman, as he tends to do things like that. Willis always wraps up when he tackles.

Anyways, one thing that will hurt the Seahawks this year is 5 1PM EST games. They always start out slow when they travel across the country and have that early game. If they get home field in the playoffs they won't lose, but they will probably lose a few of those East Coast games, which is good for the rest of the NFC.

You know some idiot is going to draft Manziel for the hype

So he's like another Tebow? I really know nothing about the guy as I basically stopped watching college football ~3.5 years ago. (coincidentally--or not--around the same time NC State let Russell Wilson "walk away" :\)

No, unlike Tebow he can actually throw a pretty beautiful pass.

I saw Manziel for the first time this weekend. Its really hard to tell arm strength watching college games but he didn't impress me at all as an NFL qb prospect.
NFL defensive backs should be able to close on anything he throws over 20 yards.

I'm not impressed with Manziel either, but some millionaire NFL owners probably love the guy, and give him a chance in the future.

No way will anyone be worse than the Jags. I believe they might be the worst team in the history of the NFL and I'd be surprised if they even won a game (of course, now that I said that, they'll luck out and beat the Colts once). The lack of talent on that team is astonishing and in his brief ownership stint, Super Mario has already shown he can make bad decisions with the best of them (Mike Mularkey? LOL!).

Cleveland and Tampa might make it to the top 5, but I believe both are better than the likes of the Raiders. I believe my Colts could land a top 10 slot as well.

DISCLAIMER: I hate the Jaguars and think they're the joke of the NFL and a waste of a franchise. However, I miss Del Rio being the coach because at least they had higher laugh value then. Not even their ridiculously retarded new helmet/uniform make them humorous.

First time I saw him as well. He seems like a cross between Doug Flutie and Eli Manning. It may be that Alabama isn't as good this year, but I was impressed with Manziel. NFL teams have drafted worse QBs...

Jaguars fans (all 3 of them) are going to hold a rally to convince Super Mario and company to sign Tebow.

I think that Jacksonville should really consider it. They could easily cut one of their 4 QBs and sign Tebow for hardly anything. It's not like they have anything to lose, might as well give them fans something to cheer for while the Jags get blown out every game with their goofy new helmets.

The Browns were looking at him this weekend so it's destiny disaster will strike.. and strike hard.. Cleveland style.

Bengals are looking real good but lets see if they can hold it together. That holding call was bs but lets hope they keep the penalties to a minimum.
