sadly the eagles' offense and defense was very much lacking tonight. lots of turnovers and failures to keep the vikings from converting on 3rd down. especially the huge play in the 4th where webb threw for ~30yds and peterson took it in for the TD. that was really the turning point of the 4th quarter.

Yeah, in the end, this game wasn't even as close as the score given the multiple dropped easy interceptions of Vick by the Vikings.

I hope the Iggles don't give Vick a huge, multi-year contract and instead hang the franchise tag on him while making sure to hang on to Kolb, who, like it or not, is their long-term future.

Vick is FUN, and took this Eagles team further than they would have gone without him, but I would never bet the farm on him.

So . . . franchise him, keep your options open, and hope to capture lightning in a bottle next year if not this year, just don't marry him without any pre-up, what what, I say.

I sat down tonight fully expecting to see Philly beat the Vikings by 31/3 or something similar. Needless to say, I was SHOCKED at how the game turned out...and how well Webb played.

I was unfortunate enough to witness the fail in-person. Terrible, terrible game all-around. I'm a true Eagles fan, but I gotta say... they deserved the loss after playing like they did. Unfortunately, we're the #3 seed now and therefore don't get the rest week. Hopefully Andy will throw in the second and third strings Sunday against Dallas to give the rest of our boys a break.

amazingly enough, predictions are made in the pre-season.


looks like jags and giants are going to get their wish and miss the playoffs this year. garrard and nicks both out of the season ending games with injuries.
 
Looked like Vick got hurt early in the game and then he was way off the mark for the rest of it.

btw Is there a thread for college bowl games anywhere?
