Awesome, awesome ...AWESOME game last night! :D

kind of lame in the sense that Dallas more or less beat themselves (coaching + Romo), but as a Redskins fan and a hater of Dallas, I am quite happy.

Why Dallas didn't stick to that halfback option series more during the game is beyond me. It was the only worthwhile attack that they had during a drive.

The have a decent offense if they can keep the ball out of Romo's hands a bit more...and I'm actually not so down on Romo as so many are.

...and wtf SF? I had them pegged as contenders for top defense this year. Yikes! :D

Yes it was partly coaching like not taking a knee at the half but for the most part it was Washington stuffing the shit out of Dallas on 3rd downs (Dallas only converted 5/13) and coming up big. Give credit where it's due. Who stripped Choice for the TD, the tooth fairy? Who dropped 2 gimme-INTs on Romo's last drive, Santa Claus?

Romo was completing passes for around 70% so you can't fault them for passing, Austin was constantly finding ways to get open. It came down to Washington's new bend but don't break defense which got the job done last night, especially Hall/Carter/Landry/Orakpo/Fletcher/McIntosh. Dallas had 9 more minutes of possession time and Washington could barely penetrate Dallas's stellar line but still made the stop when it counted (80 Tackles to Dallas's 55).

coaching isn't just the bad call at the end of the half, it comes out in the lack of discipline as well, which Dallas has in spades.

how the fuck can you end a game like that? rofls.

I have 1.3 points from Chris Johnson and -2.00 points from Cedric Benson. Awesome.

Is Benson hurt or something?

No, this is what you should expect from Benson from week to week. last year was an absolute fluke.

No idea why more people don't realize this.

trade him, NOW. or wait for him to do something semi-decent next week, and steal some real players form some poor sap.

Johnson will be plenty for the rest of the year, anyway.

It's Detroit maintaining their losing ways for a little longer. It's a catch but Megatron should have cradled the ball a little longer until ref raised arms for a goal to be sure. It's a well known rule, he should have known better.

Yeah, he'll know better for next time. To be fair, the ref right near him signaled touchdown. It's just that he got overruled by someone else further away, probably the main ref? If the last Super Bowl didn't highlight that dumb rule, maybe this game will give it more attention.

The Choice fumble in the Dallas/Washington game was all kinds of fail. Phillips for forgetting to change the play after the holding. Garrett for not changing the play for Phillips. Romo for not calling an audible to take a knee in that situation. Own 30s with 60+ yards to go and :03 left is never going to happen. Romo again for not throwing the ball out of bounds. Choice for not taking a knee or falling down after recognizing that the play was broken and done. Why try to get an extra yard in that situation?

The whole lack of discipline and mental game was bad for Dallas in general. Combine that with Washington having good pass rush and actually playing a terrible O-line guy in there just was bad. Washington played awesome D, but their offense was just as bad. 6 points total?

yea i have SF defense on one of my fantasy teams as well. :(
i thought they'd do better with seattles mediocre o-line.

by the end of the year they might finish with a top-10 defense since they get to face st louis and arizona twice each. lol.
