That's complete and utter bullshit
A catch is two steps and a "football move" such as a third step or getting tackled. He has two steps and THEN his butt is down which counts as that crucial third move, and he has possession all the way through. Touchdown.
It would only be incomplete if, for instance, he caught the ball falling out of bounds in the endzone, was able to tap both feet, but then failed to maintain possession of the ball on the way to the ground.
In this instance he hits to with two feet clearly inside the endzone, proceeds to fall on to his side/butt and is essentially on his way up when he just lets go of the ball when it makes contact with the ground. Of which the ground cannot cause a fumble, not that it would matter because its a TD as soon as he falls to the ground with possession AFTER tapping both feet with possession
Damn. How much do these moran officials make? Makes me want to get into the business. I don't envy the live calls but the replay officials, I don't see how some of these reviews can be fucked up so badly.
Seriously this is arguably worse than that ump ruling the guy safe at first during that otherwise perfect game because A it is a loss for the Lions, and B they actually had a chance to review it and correct for human error.
Such a travishamockery.
