Just got back from a friend's house where I watched the Colts/Chargers matchup. It was painfully obvious that the Chargers played the better game, but they kept giving the Colts opportunity after opportunity.

"Hey guys, here's an easy 7 points. Also, take the ball twice, on us. We just want to make it exciting at the end for the fans."

I still hate NFL overtime rules, though. Sucks that the Colts didn't have a chance to do anything on offense, but after the defense's display of piss-poor play (and the inability of the offense to do anything in the rest of the game up to that point), I'm not sure I care.

Game ball goes to the Chargers' punter.

Oh man it's been more than an hour since the game ended and I'm still pumped. lol! what a game. As for game ball, I agree with ^^ sproles should have at least shared that game ball, but scifres was fucking outta this world as well.

I just got back from the game and am still in disbelief the Colts couldn't put the game away. The Chargers were literally giving the game away. Anyhow, I"m just glad we won after the kind of season we just had.

Anyone else felt that the refs weren't calling a fair game w/ the chargers/colts? The colts had a lot of penalties, most of them quite obvious, but the Chargers had a lot of missed holding calls. I can't help but think the refs are trying to take it easy on the Chargers to make up for the bad call earlier in the season... but fuck man leave that in the past and call a fair game.

Should've gone to Sproles.

he might have broken a playoff record in total yardage by one player, but I think the punter also broke a record for long punt and his position punts were absolutely on the money (like that one that didn't even need help to stop on the 1)...his ability to keep the Colts pinned deep was absolutely huge in the long term

the offense was getting some pretty big plays from all players, not just sproles, and the fact that they had to rely on the punter as much as they did says that even sproles' contributions weren't enough...had he not fumbled away that one into the end zone then maybe it'd be a different story, but I definitely agree the punter was absolutely lights out tonight and deserves it

No, didn't look fishy here....

Don't have a crappy defense and it wouldn't matter!
