Shaun Alexander and L. Tomlinson had the Madden Curse for an excuse. Don't know what happened to L.Johnson. What also holds true is huge money contract for RB is as damning as the Madden Curse.

Not always. I was super scared that MJD would suck this year coming off his holdout. Nope, he's been great. Adrian Peterson got a big contract at the beginning of last year and he played really well and made a miraculous recovery from that ACL tear as well.

comp % ___
TD ___ (lol)

I just think the RB position is one of the riskiest position in the game. Giving huge money multi-year contracts does not make much business sense and has the potential to set your team back for those years. Performance clause would be a good idea.

The Jaguars would be better off just running the Wildcat every play and direct snapping it to MJD than trusting Blaine Gabbert

Glad to have Rivers as a QB. Would rather have a fired up QB then a passive, shoulder-shrugging one. But I know A LOT of people who just plain hate him, even a few fellow Chargers fans.

Tomlinson was never a Madden cover athlete, at least in the US.

Houston in only favored by 10 points.

Honestly the way that Houston has been playing combined with the Jets inept offense and injuries I am smelling a ROFL stomp.

will the browns be 0-16 and get this year #1 round draft pick? they could select Matt Blakely out of USC and build around him. Since they already have Trent as their RB.

I'm in it for the potential (likely!) Tebow sighting, and the comments from Gruden that such an appearance will inspire.

Browns are bad but not 0-16 bad. They'll win 3-4 games this year. They've been close several times.

Can't wait to enjoy the delicious Schadenfreude courtesy of the Jets fans tonight. It is only fair after all of the coverage they received over the summer and preseason. ESPN turned into the Jets network, and still are to some degree.

The Seahawks host the Patriots next week, it will be a matchup of a top offense against a top defense. While Russell Wilson is progressing, it will still be tough for the Seahawks to put up enough points against the Patriots. I am expecting a very close game, and if the Seahawks can capitalize on turnovers, win the time of possession battle, and not give the ball away, don't be shocked if the Seahawks beat the Patriots. That is a long flight for the Pats too.
