On the one hand we've got Brady and several playmakers on offense but to be a Pat's fan nowadays is to realize the pass defense is about as horrific as it can get, mediocre pass rush, the worst DB's in the league. We see Brady's last remaining years going to waste because of a secondary that can make Mark Sanchez look pretty good, and that's pretty bad.

I think that criticizing your own team is something that any passionate fan does, as you suggested. But it's still hating. If the 49ers win next week, I'm certainly not going to start crowing about how the 49ers won in spite of the haters.
 
Man that Houston/Chicago game was so disappointing, even though my Texans won. I guess it was the weather...too bad they didn't play at Houston. Just one punt after another. This was a weak...week of match ups as it was anyhow.

Wow i just saw that SF/STL ended in a tie (stupid Redzone closing down early like they always do), crazy!

Ugh.. don't even know what to think of the tie. 🙁 Our defense and special teams stunk.

MNF next week may be a battle of the backup QBs!

I missed all of daytime football yesterday. Only learned this morning that Smith went out in the first quarter with a concussion. Sucks.

At least the board's resident P Manning homer fanboi club can't proclaim: "Durp dur Niners suck b/c of Alex Smith derpa sherpa"

I watched the first halves of both the Philly and Chicago games, then other things came up and I wasn't able to watch more until near the end of the game. And in both of them I was like "whoa what happened." Guess my turning off the channel was the kiss of death for those QBs. The 49ers game wasn't on TV for me so I couldn't see that.
