Well, it's a definite fact for states with sales tax. I know that Newegg recently opened a distribution center in Tennessee, so I rarely order from them now thanks to having to add sales tax to the order.

Exactly why I am glad we didn't get that warehouse down here in MS. Too bad I have only had one thing to ship from there so far out of all of the orders I have placed with the Egg.

It's actually the opposite with Fry's. Fry's B&M stores are often cheaper than their online counterpart.

I think the store image is there because when you click on the link it is next to it looks like you are at another e-store front. Compare the "store" links with the "non-store" links. I cannot see how it would denote they have a B&M store in any way.

Yeah, i built my system from them, and got almost all the parts from Newegg. They delivered it on time, and the price was fair. So what?

They are definitely not the cheapest out there, and you can get on time delivery from tons of people. whats so special about them?

you pretty much said it. they have good prices, deliver on time, hardly get any complaints. they are a reliable company and have a loyal customer base that helps their business. and you can't find free shipping from many places with comparable prices.

If shipping isn't free, it's always MUCH cheaper than other places. I especially like making a big order and having the total shipping cost relatively cheap. I think for a $1300 order I only paid like $60 in shipping with a case, drives, etc. Excellent customer service. My only gripe is that shipping to Alaska sucks.... but shipping to Alaska ALWAYS sucks, no matter where you get stuff.
