Thankfully, Kazmir pitched a great game and got some run support. I guess this makes up for last night.

I hate watching this team play. Wtf is wrong with them? They leave men in scoring position in every inning of every game. And what was the last time they maintained a lead throughout the game. Sigh.

I don't fault the Yankees for signing Pavano, every team in majors wanted him after last year. Nobody knew he wouldn't pitch well.

that 13 run 8th was great and all but if they come back and lose tomorrow night to Tamba, it doesn't really mean that much.


i will say this however, you can't say ARod never got a hit in a big spot. his hit in the 8th started the whole RBI barrage.

Kinda amazing how poorly the Yanks play against the Devil Rays. I thought that 13 run inning the other day was more Lou not giving a damn rather than the Yanks making some historical comeback (not that it wasn't impressive but that wouldn't have happened if Lou didn't take out that poor dude Harper). If the Yanks lose tonight they should be embarrassed..or at least ashamed of themselves for such poor play cause they are a billion times better than the Devil Rays. I do think Yankees fans should be concerned with Pavano..he's been a bust so far as has Randy.

As for getting swept by the Royals..well.. the second they fired their manager didn't they go 10-4..something like that... they Royals just went into some "new manager streak" that some teams go through when changing managers.

Yanks shouldn't worry though if they lose to the D-Rays again..cause they have my hapless Mets coming up and it should be a slaughter. (FACKING METS!! :| )

With that much money they should win every game.
They dont, so IMO, they suck.

Could've been a sweep if Lou would have taken out Harper yesterday instead of keeping him on the mound throwing batting practice to the Yanks.

The Yanks gotta be embarrassed not just for this series but just playing poorly against Tampa Bay the entire season.

I bet they'll be a ton of scoring. Hopefully not all Mets scoring. It should be 100 degrees in the city this weekend. Summer baseball. I'll be tuning in....
