To budget and keep track of spending.

Never balanced a checkbook in my life. And I used to be a former banker. 😀

Balancing a checkbook is overrated. Spent hours looking for a few cents. Have totaled recently but not reconciled with bank in over a year. Probably since I now purchase everything with a credit card (rewards FTW 😀) and pay mostly ONE payment per month with a few other's thrown in (utilities, etc. that are paid automatically).

A budget, even hand written, is a good choice. I have kept a weekly budget (usually 6 months in advance) for about 10 years and it's always kept me from trouble! 😀

Good choice!

Lose weight, quit drinking, quit smoking, stop chewing finger nails, eat better, no fast food, make better use of my time, sleep less, manage money better, no more soda. I think that is about it.

I figure set a few bars high and maybe I'll at least improve on some things a little.

I'd like to spend 90% less time reading forums, write a book or two, learn to play the piano and how to play the guitar correctly, and also try to graduate with a 4 year degree a semester early. We'll see 😛

1. graduate from college magna cum laude (one semester to go)

2. get into all grad schools i apply to

3. get a cool summer internship

4. get stronger (i'd like to bench 150, right now i top out around 85, yep i know i'm weak, runners build))

somebody should bump this thread at this time next year

Fitness:
Continue playing soccer, increasing my skill.
Bench Press 225 for my working sets.
Gain 1 inch on my arms.
After current bulk, cut down to 12% fat.

Stop working out, gain weight, work more, see less of my family, drink lots of alcohol and lose my life savings on a single spin of roulette (put it all on #53!).

I like to pick resolutions that I know I can keep.

Make my new business work so I don't have to go back to working for someone doing a job that I hate, regardless of what they pay me.

/edit oh yeah I should also do a better job of budgeting my money instead of buying all of this useless crap.

I, Sandorski, hereby resolve to return 1 year hence and make a new New Years Resolution!

Let it be posted, let it be done!
