Pistons vs. Nets in the 2nd round! Gonna be a good series!
Speaking of the Pistons, here is a little video you may enjoy, iamme.

Tayshaun Prince vs. UNC - requires Windows Media Player

The clip shows Tayshaun Prince nailing 5 consecutive shots, all treys, against UNC on Dec 8, 2001. It lasts just under 3 minutes.

already saw it 😀

crazy, huh? Prince scores the first 15 Kentucky points on three pointers alone. This kid's going to be a really awesome all-around role player.

Robert Traylor gets ejected while his team is up 14 points. He pushes Eddie Jones down after the foul. What a bonehead.

yikes, 4 point game with a minute to go!

New Orleans is showing some bad decision making right now. What is Baron Davis doing taking difficult three pointers when his teams needs to take time off the clock and score?

Spurs beat the Lakers. Spurs looked very poised against the Lakers. I'd be worried if i were phil jackson.

Not thing to be worried yet. 1 game down, still 6 games to go... Phil alway play deal or alive in game 7 of all his series. Let see any improvement in game 2 and will consider that.

Silly statistic, but I don't think Phil Jackson's track record is very good when losing Game 1 of a 7-game series.

Granted it's not Phil's record when winning Game 1 (undefeated), but its still a winning percentage and better than just about every other coach out there.

pistons clamped the Nets..
waiting for the resident lakers fanboy to come and say "it wasnt the defense"

lol 🙂

Pistons just put the smack down defensively on the Nets.

Pistons outrebounded the Nets 48-29, held the Nets to 27.1% FG and 27.8% 3PT shooting.

I know defense isn't as sexy as offense, but when your team wins by 22, it's all good 😀

Detroit absolutely destroyed the Nets. Holding them to <60 points is mighty impressive! You'd think that in a game as low-scoring as this, that it would be boring to watch. But the defense was incredible and most people on Detroit played super-hard. Couple of offense highlights squeezed into there too.

it's cool to see basketball fans appreciate good defensive showings.

The Lakers were simply outcoached by Popovich last game... when they needed a stop, they couldn't get it... why didn't Phil rotate Kobe to play D on Payton's man? Payton may be a HOFer, but isn't playing HOF bball, neither is Shaq. Both teams have the talent to win, it's the coaching that will be the deciding factor.

Game 7 for New Orleans and Miami. Home team has won all games so far. Game 7 is in Miami.

Sacramento and Minnesota game 1 is tonight as well. This should be great series.

holy cow, i was shocked by that Nets score. If Detroit keeps this up, the East might have a chance to win it all this year

Growing up with the Bad Boys promotes that sort of appreciation, ya know? 🙂 I think that the '88-'91 Pistons were plain 'ol talented and dirty, while these current Pistons are the more sound defensive team. This is definitely exciting stuff. I see no reason why they won't dispatch the Nets in 4 or 5 games, and assuming they play the Pacers in the ECF's (no offense, Heat or Hornets - but you're about to get annihilated), it will be a very good series.
