I assume you mean LMG. Yes, I use them all depending on the challenges

Best idea is grip or Bling with grip + silencer/acog/thermal or the like.

The only one i use is the RPD. I use it with bling (grip, then silencer or HBS), hardline, steady aim. I don't think you really need stopping power because the RPD is pretty powerful.

Tried getting back into it now after taking a few weeks off. Last night I chased someone around half afghan with my RPD, waiting for a clear shot. I finally shot him in the back, move forward and the game spawns him behind me literally with me in his crosshairs. I just had to laugh and turned it off at that point.

AUG is my favorite, RPD is pretty good. Throw a grip on 'em and rock and roll. Don't run and gun, be more of a slow moving support gunner.

Bling with Grip + RDS/thermal is pretty good. LMGs start with so much ammo you don't really need Scavenger. Another option is to ditch Bling for Sleight of Hand to cut down on the long reload time and make it aim faster (if you have SoH Pro).

Using a silencer actually reduces the damage done by the LMGs (not the range as they are unaffected by range) so I wouldn't recommend it.

Whatever you do, though, always use a grip. There's a reason it only takes ten kills to unlock.

I think bad spawns are just going to be part of the game. Do I like it, no. Will it keep from playing, no.

Prime example was that I was in Domination last night and was killed securing the flag when I got killed. I spawned 6 feet from that spot 3 times in a row and was of course 3 straight times by the same guy within a second of spawning.

Stupid, yes but hey what can I do.


I do enjoy playing the game. I never played the first MW online so I don't "how good it was" for comparison.

For reference there are only 2 games I play online -- MW2 and Forza 3 and that is primarily because I can play with fellow ATers who are so far a hell of a lot more respectful than the GP. I may be the crummiest player on MW2 night but it doesn't dampen my spirits at all and I am always a team player (constantly getting killed to save a teammate or at least show them where the bad guys are hiding LOL!).

I hope they can improve on everyone's complaints until then I am happy to keep playing.

EDIT - BTW many thanks to the person who mentioned the use of C4 on Domination!!! Nothing like being away from a flag, hear the call "we're losing A" and bammo set off the C4 and kill'em. Hehe I love that. Would love to see a kill-cam of that one.

Agreed. I cannot run and gun worth a damn with either of these. I find myself most often backing up guys or laying lots of cover fire. This is particularly effective on Domination games where you tend to guard a position vs looking for others (aka Deathmatch or Free for all).


I also have to admit I seem to have dropped the beloved M4 with ACOG. I had been playing with a Silenced SCAR for about a week and went back to the M4 (I was getting killed by some better people so I thought going back to the tried and true M4 would be good) and couldn't shoot a damn thing!!

The ACOG was messing with me. I guess I had gotten accustomed to the Iron Sights on the SCAR. The only thing the ACOG was helping with was those really long shots I like to take, outside of that I got demolished even worse with the M4. Also the recoil on the M4 is hellish compared to the SCAR -- I never realized it until I went back to the M4 last night.

i did pretty well with the l86 grip/red dot whatever hip shopt + acc is.

I unlocked thermal on both the RPD and MG4 and I think the Aug. I use the Grip and some sort of scope on them. I have mostly been playing Domination, Sabatage and Demolition. I did have a good experience with the aug while playing Domination on Terminal with my Brother. He had the riot shield and I used him as Cover while controlling the differnt flags.

I just need to learn the maps better.

Also, I really enjoy using the Scar with a silencer. But I'm still a M4 fan.

I was play domination in Derailed, and I got mowed down by a Sentry Gun that was locked on to a teammate who was behind me. The team mate strafed, the gun followed him, and we both went down. the one time Cold Blooded Pro didn't help. I guess i should have been lying prone, or taken out that sentry gun.

Flash / Stun

Bling pro
Cold blooded pro
Ninja pro

Semtex
Flash / Stun

Sleight of hand pro / Scavenger pro (doesn't really matter to me with FAMAS)
Stopping power pro
Steady aim pro

I think Cold-blooded Pro is a very under-valued perk. Especially when using guns that have high damage already. I love it when harriers, UAVs, etc. come in...I just keep playing like normal. More often then not, when an enemy UAV comes out, I start raping the other team.
