It is the Major rank insignia but it is called Captain II. The ranks are stupid. There should be enlisted / officers. If they wanted more warrant officers could have done.
 
I won't be able to make it tonight guys. Due to the 2 ft of snow i'm stuck 3 hrs from home in Radford, VA.

Sorry I didn't make it, I fell asleep on the couch an hour before you all started...the wife was watching "LA Ink" on Netflix and I just dozed off.

MG4 w/ Grip & Thermal
AA-12 w/ Silencer (will add Grip once unlocked and I get Bling Pro)
Semtex & Flash (might swap to Smoke)
Bling
Stopping Power Pro
Steady Aim Pro

Good god, that thing is wickedly accurate, and puts out some good damage. I might try the AUG like this once I'm done.

Try to RPD with the thermal scope and grip. Its like using a sniper rifle because its so accurate. Thats my go to weapon when the other team is really good, because it does so much damage and can be used up close and from across the map. The MG4 is better then the AUG, but I am still working on getting the thermal for the AUG to see how it compares apples to apples.

It was basically impossible to play last night. I spent half the time just trying to get into a stupid game and keep my party together. How did they f up matchmaking in this SO bad
 
Umm, YOU messed up matchmaking Kev, IW doesn't make mistakes. Any mistake you think they made is in fact an error on your part.
 
sorry i didn't get into the game, guys. i tried to log on saturday night and realized my live subscription ran out and the wife cancelled the credit cards because she thought she lost her pocket book and there was a huge snow storm.

it was like the perfect storm of not being able to play.
 
According to 402's twitter the PS3 has been patched to fix the 1887's, private match glitch, and presitge glitch. 360 and PC patches are waiting approval.
 
down to the last spec op I need vet on. Wetwork.

I have watched a walkthrough where they did a speed run of under 90 seconds on vet. I've tried to follow the walkthrough 20+ times to no avail. It will be mine this week though.

I second the M16A4. Love it. I've been going with (Lvl 42 or so):
M16A4 w/ Red Dot (dont have FMJ unlocked yet)
Stinger (hate enemy planes/choppers)
Claymore + Flash
Sleight of Hand Pro
Stopping Power Pro
Commando Pro

KDR near ~1.33 last I looked. 2.11 is pretty awesome.
 
Meh, compared to the awesome dominance of the M16 in CoD 4 the rifle in MW2 doesn't work as well. Not as accurate, doesn't seem to pack the same punch. And honestly the FAMAS does the same damage, is more accurate, and has less recoil. Granted, I use the M16 more than the FAMAS but neither really stand out as a fantastic weapon. Granted, I say that and I got absolutely owned on Terminal by a guy using an M16 w/EOTech and stopping power. Wow he was good...and he wasn't cheap or a big time camper either.

I'm trying to hit 1000 kills with the MP5K and M4A1 before I prestige. Already done it with the ACR and SCAR-H, I've got 3 1/2 levels to go (including getting to 71). I've only got around 50 kills left with the MP5 but close to 300 with the M4...
 
KDR can be misleading since some players play objective matches and ignore the objectives entirely, instead going for kills only. Which is fine, I don't mind them doing that but it does help inflate KDR.

I agree it is not as dominant as CoD 4, but it suits my style of play. I am very accurate with it and can easily pick people off far across the map so I'll have to disagree with you on the accuracy part. I'm just not a good close quarters guy so I try to keep my distance (hence my hatred for dual-shottys and knifers). If all three bullets are on target, it is a kill. I'll take that anytime.

Oh and I was using that exact setup this weekend... hmmmm. Remember the gamertag? 😉

The ACR and M4 are just as accurate. While they both take 1 more bullet to kill than the M16 the time it takes to down someone is about the same. To each his own though, if it works for ya then use it! 😀
