Does anyone use Auto-Aim?
I personally hate it, and I think it takes away a skill element.
I don't usually notice it but ever once and awhile I nptoce my gun tracking someone, but not all the time. It's kinda weird. Is there some people that rely on this?
What game mode?
There's also no buttstock on the MP5 this time. You try holding onto a full auto SMG with no buttstock...I don't care if it IS 9mm.

ahh didn't notice there was no buttstock in this one. Makes more sense now.
If you aren't using the scar-h you don't know what you're missing.
I'd say it's neigh impossible to do by yourself...stupid flares.
On a match at Favela last night I shot down 4 UAV's, 1 counter-UAV, a harrier, and an attack helicoper by myself (no one else on my team had a launcher). We lost the match but it felt pretty good to blow all that equipment out of the sky.
Having a hard time deciding between getting for PC or PS3. I prefer using a mouse, but worried about cheaters on PC. I do very good in Killzone 2, so I know how to use the gamepad just fine. I just... don't like it.
What is 'low rate of fire', Alex?
(what do I win?)
😀

Bling SCAR-H with FMJ and Holographic. Doesn't get much better than that. I do run out of ammo often, but then I just pick up some dead guy's weapon. I have been trying to use the FAL on more open maps though.
I only use the M4A1 with Stopping Power Pro because it feels like a peashooter if I don't.
I personally use the Scar with FMJ and sleight of hand. Sleight of hand solves the low clip size problem almost entirely, reloads are super quick. And while an RDS or holo sight is a vast improvement for most weapons, the iron sights on the scar are about as perfect as can be. If anything, the RDS or Holo are a downgrade on it. The iron sights are super thin, and you aim down them faster than the electronic sights. With sleight of hand pro, its practically instantaneous.
Add stopping power to the sleight of hand, and you can sight and take down anyone a split second before they even get a shot off, at any range. The scar is dead accurate, and it only takes 2-3 shots to kill even at a long distance.
Im working on getting the extended mags, which will probably replace FMJ for me - I'm assuming these are larger clips, and not just a few extra mags in reserve. Its quite a bit harder than it sounds to get 40 FMJ bullet penetration kills though...going to take a while.
Besides the scar, I've been using the F2000, just unlocked at 60 - I really dont like it. Its more like an SMG than an AR - the rate of fire is absurd, and it actually has a lot of recoil. The TAR is inaccurate, but its more of a spread. This thing actually kicks upwards a significant amount. I've gotten quite a bit more headshots than usual due to the upward kick, but recoil + weak bullets is generally not a good combination for anything but medium to close range.

I've got the extended mag for the scar, I've got the same setup. If you use sleight of hand the extended is worthless. It only takes me 2 or 3 bullets to kill a guy so reloading isn't a problem. I'm still wondering if FMJ does any noticeable difference. I can't tell but in the charts it says you get more damage. Don't see guys falling any faster with it.
So your're ok with having the same amount of ammo, and only reloading less? That doesn't sound like a good trade-off at all for scavenger pro.
Yes. I tend to do a lot of long range killing, and I dont like to have to run over the body to recollect ammo. If I'll switch out sleight of hand for anything, it would be for bling, to attach a shotty alongside the FMJ, maybe even a silencer.
I personally find having to actually "scavenge" makes scavenger a nearly useless perk - I'm dead 90% of the time before I even run out of ammo anyway. I'd rather have a perk that makes me less likely to be dead, like SoH.
I use scavenger pro on 4 of my 5 create a classes, the last one has Bling. I think I've been killed maybe 1 or 2 times while running for someone's body. It's not like I see a blue package on the ground and think "I MUST GET TO IT NOW!"
On top of that Scavenger Pro triples your starting ammo and with Scavenger you replenish grenades, M203's, rockets, etc.
gotta say, the more and more i have been playing mw2, the less and less i'm liking it.
i'm starting to not like a lot of maps that i initially thought were okay.
i also think a lot of it is due to the way the opponents are playing. there seems to be so much more camping in MW2 than I remember in COD4.
granted it is a valid tactic, i just don't like it because it's boring.
so most of the maps that have buildings and windows to hide in on 2nd floors or roof tops, i'm starting to not like because i'm just seeing so many people camping now.
