It's still my most played game, unfortunately not many people on AT play it much, Cuda and Blowfish are the only two guys I see with any sort of regularity.

I've got a bunch of buds on the AVS boards who I play with though.
 
Kabob your the only online guy I play with, everyone is people I know locally. We have between 4-10 ppl a night that play. I play mw2 every night, I can't get off the game for some reason.

I have a copy of fallout 3 that I haven't even played yet. I think once I start fo3 I won't be able to stop playing it
 
Yeah, we need to play more often, we've only played one or two games total together (then again, you've only been on my friend's list for a few days).
 
Yeah I know last time I had to leave early I had some running around to do. I'm on every night tho man. Friday and saturday night is when we have around 8-10 people on that I know and we have some good fun talking smack and playing free for all with each other
 
I think I am done for a while. I have been to verbal during some Demolition maps the past couple of days. One was a hacked room with one shot kills and EMP with all care packages.
Today was two kids with aimbots. There was nothing that could be done. They would throw throwing knives in the air or in your general direction, and each one would land and kill. One landed 5 feet away from me, and I was still dead.
 
Had a terrible game of Ground War Domination last night... It was against a premade team, and I didn't realize it because they didn't have the same clan tag. Anyway, this is basically how it went down:

LOL you guys got whooped on. The worst thing to play by far is domination in ground war. Let one team get both flags and a ac130 and you are screwed. Straight spawn trap and you can't really get out of it because someone will probably have a harrier right over top of your spawn.

That's why most of the time when we play we do the ground war to free for all glitch and we have a full room with no one else. We like to talk alot of crap to each other when we play but it's all in good fun as we all know each other. I actually prefer to play FFA then anything else. I don't have to count on anyone else to do anything it's all up to me.
 
It depends on what your other perks are and what weapon your using. If you are running around knifing then ninja is better as you'll be quiet. If you are just using a Sniper then Sit rep pro is really handy.

I think sit rep pro is probably the best 3rd perk to use. I haven't gotten it yet but ive used it at my buddies house and people are really loud, I think it is like 4x louder for enemy footsteps. If someone runs on something metal like steps it's super loud.

I usually play for a while each night - would like to play more but I don't always have the time and I do like spending time with the wife and kids.

That being said they are gone this w/e (F, S, S) but of course I have 100 things going on this w/e (ref certification, coach training, board of directors meeting) ugghh I have more to do this w/e then ever LOL.

However if you ever see me on (blowfish7494) hit me up for some game time. I usually play TDM and Domination.

Ninja for me. Yes Sitrep Pro makes footsteps louder but alot of the time it isn't necessary. The majority of players don't use Ninja and therefore already have loud footsteps that you can hear. I sneak up on people much more often than they sneak up on me.
 
Ninja is very good but it does depend on what your other perks are and your play style. I use it more then anything else as I mainly run my arse off and love being quiet while I do it.
Plus I mainly play free for all with my buddies and the quieter I can be the better it is when I stab them in the back then tea bag them so they can watch it on kill cam LOL
 
I've purchased like 10 different headphone sets. I can't seem to find a damn good one. Most of them are either ridiculously complex requiring all kinds of wiring, or just crappy quality. So I just gave up and turn the speakers up high. I did finally get myself a decent wireless headset/mic setup though.

I am reinvigorated by this game. I think playing with people you know, who actually *gasp* work together, makes a huge difference. Any time I'm on I look for a couple friends to join up with.


My NAT is open now too, so hopefully that'll help me stay in parties! (Thanks Kabob).
 
I said screw the expensive headsets, my buddy has the TB px 21 head phones and they are extremely loud but I dont like the way they fit at all. This is what I did.
Went to monoprice.com and ordered their house brand earbuds for $4.99 and a 12ft audio extension cable for $2 came out to $10 shipped I think. Nice and cheap and I can really hear everything with the earbuds as they are in my ears.

Plus they actually have bass, they blow my iphone earbuds out of the water and it's a damn shame as the mono price ones were only $5 lol

Glad you're getting back into the game!!! I know it's probably more hassle than it's worth but if you feel so inclined check the AVS forum MW2 thread (link in my sig), most of the guys I/blowfish play with are there and it's much more active than this topic.

I've been trying to snipe for awhile today and it's not goin good at all. So many of the ppl online are so good at quick scoping that I'm getting blasted hard lol...
