Abreu and Vlad with some huge at bats. Vlad's problem is sometimes he wants to do too much, but you put him in that situation where all he needs is a single and you've done him a big favor. Vlad's two walks this series both came at critical times and turned into runs for the Angels.
 
ARG, I fell asleep while watching the Angels/Sox game. The last thing I remember was that it was the bottom of the 9th, with 2 outs, and the count was 2-2 or something. I was so dead tired (3am)... I wake up and the Taiwanese espn news was replaying the 9th, and I went :Q :Q.

Both LA teams sweep 😀. Do I smell freeway series? Too soon to make such an assertion? 😀. GOOO DODGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, mlb should force the Rockies to build a domed stadium. It's bad enough in the northeast this time of year but Denver? It's absurd to have a playoff game there in October.
If the Rockies made it to the World Series you could realistically be playing in sub 20 degree weather at night.

31 degrees now at Coors Field, so it'll be well below freezing by the end of the game. That's not baseball weather! 😕 That ball is going to sting.
 
My god.. 31 degrees at gametime in Colorado. Why didn't they play this game in the afternoon and put the Red Sox/Angels game as the evening game? I do not understand. Hope the fans have their thermals on.

man mlb/tbs straight up fucked up the scheduling for today. i had to wake up at 9am to watch the angels/sox game and now philly fans are up at 1:30am to watch their team play on a school/work night and there's a possibility it could go into bonus baseball! since i've been on tbs lately for their janky coverage; i blame them. but i will admit the picture looks nice.

Yeah, 10:07 Sunday night start for a game where half the audience lives on the East coast. Brilliant.
