Twins up by 2 runs going into the 9th. Lets see if Joe Nathan can shut the Yanks down with the big boys coming up.
 
wow and a-rod ties it in the bottom of the 9th. and i had to see it in standard def because tbs blows and the hd feed goes out when the count was 3-0.
 
Fuck Nathan. Every time I see this fool on the mound against the Yanks he never seals the deal.

Who didn't see that a-rod homer coming??

btw: Arod has been quite good so far in the playoffs. No boos for him so far. lol
 
Wow Mauer got robbed. Ball landed fair by nearly a foot, and on top of that, it was deflected by the left fielder in fair territory. The outfield umps have one job only and he just blew it.

I'm happy if they lose, I'd be fucking ecstatic if they got robbed by a bad call.
 
What a great NY-MN game! I was rooting for the yanks but yeah horrible call by the ump, twins would have had at least 1 run that inning.
 
Probably the worst call I've seen all season. The ump didn't just blow it, he blew it up.
And yet if the Twins had deserved to win they would have scored a run in the last inning with the bases loaded and no outs.
 
So the Yankees with a $201M payroll are beating a team with a $65M payroll? Really? How can Yankees fans even be excited over that? That's like me playing basketball against 4th graders and cheering when I stuff it in their faces.

And you wonder why the NFL dominates all now. There's none of this BS. I'd like to see the Yankees play the Twins with equal payrolls. What would it be, the entire Twins team vs A-Rod, Jeter, and CC? That's about how fair it is on the flipside. Baseball is great.

Ethier has done well for himself this season eh? Dodgers are in command so far in game 3.

Rocks/Phils game postponed for snow..lol. I wonder if they'll get it all cleaned out tomorrow.

Seriously, mlb should force the Rockies to build a domed stadium. It's bad enough in the northeast this time of year but Denver? It's absurd to have a playoff game there in October.
If the Rockies made it to the World Series you could realistically be playing in sub 20 degree weather at night.

 
angels in an early hole at fenway. kazmir looked strong starting out, but second time through the line-up isnt looking so hot.
 
Can't believe they elected to pitch to Vlad Guerrero with the bases loaded.

I don't really trust Fuentes. Lets see if he can close the series.
