Stupid TBS. Why can't they put the games on non-cable channels?

this.

Stupid TBS? Why? TBS has always been a cable channel. Not like they became a cable channel just for MLB playoff games.

If anything, you should say stupid MLB instead, since they gave the contract to TBS to air the games on their channel. Just like the NFL did with ESPN for MNF.

At the end of the day, its all about who will give them more money for the rights to air the game. It is a business, after all.

Now quit your whining and pay for cable!

Actually, since most of the country has cable it was good choice to pick TBS. They have a sister station, TNT, that they use when one game goes long, so you can still watch the full game of your team.

gonna be wearing my phillies jersey all over nagasaki this weekend!

Just don't start randomly yelling, "Phillies are THE BOMB!" and "Phillies will ANNIHILATE the enemy!" in, you know, Nagasaki.

I'm not sure if you can watch a repeat of it, but mlb.com has a $10 package to watch all of the playoff games.

Edit: n/m

Available to US Residents only

yep, no playoffs on mlb.tv for me.

Proxy that shit.

Wow. Game over and 1-1 versus feeling completely demoralized. Their best 2 starters and 0 wins. Cards should win game 3, though.

*heart attack*
GOOO DODGERS! Man, that is completely demoralizing
Sigh.. I can't find anything televising the dodgers here in Taiwan. 🙁 They're only showing Yankees! 🙁 🙁

And Turner Sports certainly knows how to put on a production.

Great picture quality and audio, especially in HD. The pitch-trax on the HD sidebar is actually really interesting, especially for long at-bats down the stretch.

GO DODGERS!

I was actually pulling for Cardinals because I don't trust the Dodgers to beat the Phillies (if they make it). I hate Philly :|

Also, I'd encourage anyone who is watching to flip to the UFL game on Versus during the commercials. It's a who's-who of has-beens from the NFL and though the quality of play sucks, just seeing that Denny Green has a coaching job makes it pretty hilarious.

Put it this way, JP Losman is one of the starting QBs.

^ retract that

Lester is a better pitcher than Beckett and I'd rather have him on the mound, even considering the 3 run blast he just gave up. He doesn't have the health issues and, truthfully, he's fearless. Hunter has KILLED the Sox over the years, so the HR doesn't really surprise me.

jeez ..what a blast by Hunter

yeah, real cocky... i loved how he slammed his helmet and almost took out a teammate

Someone might want to remind him it was the 5th inning of Game 1.

Son of a bitch. Either Pitch F/X wasn't properly calibrated or the strike zone is just expanding and contracting like crazy. Lackey's strike 1 in that AB was in the exact same place as ball 3. Sigh.

Such great work by CB Bucknor tonight. lol

Angels in the Umpires

Look, I understand that the umps aren't perfect, but that last call wasn't even close. Any Angels fan would admit that Kendrick was out by a mile.

it was a terrible call and if ellsbury couldnt come up with that catch on figgins' drive i might've even felt a little guilty about kendrick scoring knowing he was on because of a bad call.
