Yeah, BUT the annals of baseball are littered with extraordinary partial season results, including two somewhat recent (in the history of baseball) runs at .400.

The GAME features a 162 game season. No sports team on this planet plays such a regular season league schedule. And, anyway, in all of sports, to cut down on evasive bullshit, no "What ifs?"

Injuries are part of the game. Sustaining your season over One hundred and sixty-two games is part of . . . the game.

Raul was an integral part of the Phillies getting back to the promised land.

In baseball, over the full season, no team and no player can hide.

And that's part of baseball's integrity, complexity, and elegance.
