Bases loaded lucky for the Tigers Victorino's up, the only way he gets on base is getting hit by a pitch or a walk, pinch hit Nava for Christ's sake, he's a 300+ hitter

Eat it. And props to the Flyin' Hawaiian.

Little things add up Tigers and Dodgers (Puig)..

Dat Tigers bullpen all full of choke artists

Looked like a great curveball, Victorino just went down and got it, that's all he threw him the whole AB was the curve, sometimes you can go to the well too often..

Japan killed Detroit again and it wasn't Toyota

Funny thing is he's so far from the typical closer, fastball that tops at 90 but his control is amazing and then he throws that devastating splitter that's close to unhittable.

Epic post of the night goes to BUTCH. Wow, talk about crow.

Vic is one of my favs, I wish he was still on the Phils. KABOOM

Very similar to Trevor Hoffman IMO. Not a power pitcher. But has lights out disgustingly nasty stuff and amazing control.

Love that dirty water.

On another note:

is strikingly similar to

I'll eat that crow, dirty cleats and all. No one can ever question Vic's toughness, you knew he never made an attempt to avoid getting hit so many times, a 95MPH fastball to the ribcage can't be much fun, I was just expressing the frustration with his 2/20 for the series to that point and was wondering why Ferrel hadn't given Nava a chance, he is a great hitter and was the only one who managed solid contact against Scherzer in the first game.

If it was not for A.J. Burnett it be the Pirates in the WS. Now we are hearing he is all mad because he got passed up to pitch that 5th game. He got more losses then wins in the post season. He is not as good as he think he is.

I hate both teams so I can't even get into this WS.

Cool. It's been inevitable since Posey happened, imo, but the sooner the better.

Sucks about Leyland. Didn't always love his tactical decisions, but he was great overall. Sucks we couldn't win one with him. I've never known another manager except during the dark days, so I'm a little anxious.
