Agreed, how can you loss the last game of the season, not even win your conference, and still expect to play for a national title.

NOT HAPPENING!

If Florida wins there is no way that they cannot play OSU.

The lost the last game of the season to the winner of the conference, who also happens to be the number 1 ranked team... If michigan won, it would be michigan who won the conference and would be going to the bcs bowl game...

B!tch and moan all you want bout why they shouldnt play again but the fact is its a sport and sport doesnt give a fvck what the fans "want" to see. Otherwise we can just rig it how we want.

And like ive said before every team starts the season with their chance. Florida lost theirs when Auburn beat em.

I just don't see UM making the championship game, as much as I still believe that they are the second best team in the country.

There are precisely zero positive outcomes for the people who stand to gain money from the BCS championship game if they put UM up against OSU again.

If UM loses, then everyone shouts that the outcome was already known.

If UM wins, then OSU and UM have split the series and there's no clear champion.

From a money standpoint and from a perpetuation of the BCS standpoint, having a rematch for the championship game is not a good idea.

So.. if Florida kills Arkansas.. then it will/should be:

Rose Bowl = Michigan / USC

National Championship = OSU / Florida

LSU could then make it as an at-large for the Sugar Bowl

If you were right, I'd agree, but you're not. The BCS is about money and the people who make the polls aren't going to set up a rematch. It won't make them enough money.

QFT. Replaying that game for the NC is just a problem waiting to happen. I say give Boise St. their shot 😛

Still, I'd love to see UM go. I hate the BCS.

Just because it's not a good idea doesn't mean it won't happen.

Do you think the presidents wanted Nebraska in? Do you think they wanted Oklahoma in?

All that matters now is that Florida can't jump Michigan in the human polls. As long as that doesn't happen, Michigan is in.

REMATCH! REMATCH! REMATCH! REMATCH! REMATCH! REMATCH! REMATCH! REMATCH!

Yea the BCS is biased somewhat. But who really wants to see OSU blow out Florida?

After that smack down they put on South Carolina they deserve to go.

And, who ever wants to see a rematch? I mean after Ali v. Frazier I couldn't figure out why anyone would want to watch any of the other ones.

So if Florida loses who then do we think deserves a shot? I personally think Louisville is better than USC or Florida.

w00t!

Btw, the Florida game is not over. Arkansas just intercepted Leak and they're deep in Florida's territory. Either way, Michigan will and deserves to go the title game.

If UF loses, it'll be UM.

But UF isn't going to lose if McFadden is gimpy.
