Those Rotten Tomatoes reviews are along the same lines of what I thought of the first. I'll probably see it because it'll be a good laugh, but that's about it.
 
I strongly suggest not seeing it.

I work in a movie theater. The less people that come through, the less times I have to say "Would you like butter on your popcorn?" 🙂

first Warcraft yesterday and now MIB2 in IMAX today, what a good week 🙂
 
THE WORST MOVIE OF THE SUMMER.

IT IS A 2 HOUR ADVERTISING COMMERCIAL.

First 3 minutes of the movie a 4 advertising by sprint, and then the movie starts by showing a stupid intro.

Bottom line: go watch minority report
 
They advertise sprint and burger king in the movie. The movie was really stupid and I dont reccomend you waste your time watching it. The only funny thing about the movie was the dog. Thats about it.

Explain the logic to me. People come to this thread wondering if the movie is worth watching. You have a poll with no option to just see the results. You are going to get the most meaningless results in the world now.

But what if you already watched minority report! And most of the good movies out now. Is it THAT bad?
 
It catored too much to children, with the talking dog having serious air time... I doubt I'll go see it.
I wasn't expecting it to be great, the first one I loved however.

They seem to have shown all the best parts in the trailer.. (thats what I think).

I didn't think it was as good as the first one, of course, but it wasn't that bad. Will Smith, as always, makes me laugh. Certainly not a thinking flick, but not a bad one, either. I'll prolly pick up the DVD when it comes out.
 
Not a very good movie. They focused too much on special effects rather than a good story. The best part of the movie was the Chocooo <sp?> cartoon in the beginning. I dunno if it was shown in every theatre, but it was pretty entertaining. Then MIIB started and sucked.
 
I have to agree, the lil 7 min mini movie intro with the "Chug Chugs" was quite entertaining, the theatre laughed more at that, then in the whole movie.

The move is insanely short too.. like 90 mins.. hour and a half... after having seen minority report last week (2+ hours) this seemed to zip by way to quickly.

And the comment about the dog, yah this seemed to really cater to the 8-12 year old group who would think that stupid dog singing "Who let hte dogs out" hysterically funny. No one laughed in our theatre at that.

They didnt expand on much, didnt look into much else in the MIB universe... the plot, and story sucked. Complete carbon copy of the first one. Big bad alien steals a love interest/female of the MIB's and they have to rescue her...yawn... before time runs out the the earth is destroyed...yahn

Johnny Knoxville shoudl stick to Jackass as well... his character seemed to only be created to sell more Mc Happy Kids Meals and use him as a toy.

a perfect example of a failed sequel only created to garner a quick buck off of a decent first attempt (MIB1)

Wait for video.... seriously, unless you have younger kids.

Saw it today and all I can say is "phew, who dropped that load of sh!t into a can and called it a movie?"

Obviously the movie was rushed in order to hit in the big movie season of the summer. The plot was bad and almost all the characters were horrible actors (even Johnny Knoxville I'm sorry to say 🙁 ). The whole movie seems like it was expecting to be big just because the first one was so great, and who cares if this one is good or not. I was really dissappointed since this was one of the movies I've been anticipating for a long time.

Bottom line: 2 thumbs down
