I put an hour into this weekend, not nearly as much as I would've liked.....the weekend was way too busy. But anyway, I'm loving the aspect of getting help from the other hunters so far, it makes it feel much better than the MP1 on the Gamecube where it was a completely solo affair (didn't play MP2). I feel like I'm actually helping out in this world, and I hope this continues throughout the game.

Also, the first major boss fight was pretty amazing. So as not to spoil anything, the one I'm referencing can be described by the keyword "falling". I hope other boss fights are as inventive as this.

The first boss had nothing against Omega Pirate from the first game.

I don't get it. The wii makes you have to update it? What if you don't have internet? Is this an excuse to release half assed games and make updates for it later? What happened to the final version being the final, thoroughly tested, working version?

The update for your Wii is on the disc, so you don't have to have your Wii connected to the net to receive system updates. Theres no indication that it has ANYTHING to do with the actual game, just the OS, although one could naturally assume the game requires the Wii to be up to date, but well, thats why its on the disc.

I think the update on the disc is different than the system update. First time I ran MP3 it installed an update, then afterwards I did a system update. Only then did the clock show on the main screen.

WTF I just played this game for 30 minutes and now I have a headache and I wanna puke!

That's how real the game is.

lol

You'll get used to it. I felt the same way at first, but after about an hour in, it was all good. Took me a good 24 or hours to beat it, but it was worth every second.
