So who's pumped up about seeing the 3rd Matrix movie on IMAX?

I saw Reloaded on IMAX and it rocked! Can't wait for this one!

is it like a MUCH sharper picture?

if anyone lives in seattle do you think seeing revolutions at imax will be better than at the cinerama?

cinerama for sure, digital projection owns

Saw Reloaded back in July when I was on vacation in Seattle..... an awesome experience; much better than the other 2 times I saw it in stadium seating! Too bad Memphis is too crappy to do something like that 🙁

I saw Reloaded @ both and have to say I was more impressed with IMAX.

I saw reloaded twice in a normal theatre, and once in IMAX, and let me say the IMAX experience was much better. Sound and picture quality was so much more crisp and supurb. The only problem is the nearest IMAX theatre by me is in NYC, so if I go, I gotta go early on a Saturday, or late on a weekday (other than wednesday and friday) to beat the lines.

while TMR looked great in IMAX, it didn't sound as good as in the normal theater, plus it also gave me a headache. I think I'll stick with a normal theater

ill watch it first at the regular theater. stories better told without large portions of the screen being out of your field of fine focus.

just wondering...the imax thing..do they really show it on imax?..i mean..do they use it using the crazy imax film?...

or do they just use the regular film and just splash it on the imax screen? (which is gay because the light seemed a little dark, and the picture was slightly fuzzy..watched jurassic park3 like this ..jp3 was a horrible movie btw..)

anyone?...

did it take up the whole whole imax screen?

Does Revolutions on IMAX come out at the same time that it comes out at the theatre? I heard that it comes out a while after. If so, I don't know if I'll be able to stand the wait. Anyone know for the Navy Pier IMAX?

When I saw Reloaded on IMAX the picture does not take up the whole screen. You see black bars on top and bottom, letterbox style. Still the IMAX is so big that this doesn't detract your experiences. The seat layout is angled so high that it puts you closer to the screen than conventional theater. I've always got good seating in the middle when I went. I can understand why some people get "motion sickness" after watching certain movies on IMAX. I also watched Ghost of the Titanic with some friends. A few said it made them dizzy. If you are prone to these side effects then you may prefer conventional theaters. For me, IMAX is by far the best theater experience.

In the theatre I saw it at (The IMAX in New York City on Broadway by Lincoln Square) it took up the whole screen, and was shown on IMAX film.

EDIT: Also, according to IMAX.com it will start in IMAX on November 5th also.
"The Matrix Revolutions: The IMAX Experience will be playing at select IMAX theatres worldwide beginning November 5, 2003. Please check back as new theatres will be added on a regular basis."
