Agreed, played very well and the clear winner.

68-68-69-75

+3 for the day was enough to get the win. He played extremely well and the course showed it's teeth for all players. Jimenez pulled off a 68 in these conditions at -4 for the day. Wild leaderboard but Immelman was the clear winner.

72 today looks to be a VERY good score.

I want to know who left that crater on the 18th? It could have cost someone some money out there

The divot many times just disintegrates and you can't replace it.

as always, tiger didn't go low on his first round

He'll shoot 4 under on Saturday and 9 under on Sunday to win it by 4 shots. :p

Well I was on the money today. Let's see how Tiger does tomorrow. :p

lol 9 under means he has to shoot 63... never been done before

Been done twice at the Masters, 4 times in the US Open, 7 times in the British Open and 10 times in the PGA

63 Nick Price, third round, 1986
63 Greg Norman, first round, 1996

Someone got owned ;). Doesn't look like Tiger is going to do it today. He's still in the hunt though. Snedeker is imploding.

lol yeah but then I can say the masters tournament now is much different than pre 1998.. course is much longer :p

---> grasping at straws

When Price did it the drivers were persimmon and the balls were balata. The course isn't playing longer now than it was in those days. What they've added in length was only to get the course to back where it was in the days before titanium drivers and superballs.

Look at Immelman's stats. That shows he mastered the course. Agree that he just flat outplayed the course and everybody else.

Impressive.
