I like the field at 20-1. Tiger at 11-10 is a suckers bet, the bookies clean up on that one.

I've got 20 bucks on JB Holmes at 40-1. And a few others that I forget. Back in December when I placed them tiger was 2-1.

Tiger will be tough but nothing is guaranteed and just a few mistakes on Augusta will make you pay. I'm rooting for Holmes because he's a local boy, and a pretty decent golfer to boot, this is his first masters.

I don't know if it's on any other network, but on DirecTV they have the "Masters Mix" on channel 706. It gives you a look in on four different masters channels, full leaderboard (with individual scorecards), trivia, etc. It's pretty cool.

Wow, I'm watching the replay of today's round. The greens are absolutely sick - the curves, undulations, wicked fast. It looks like a 10 foot putt is incredibly difficult. I think a lot of guys hitting the green can still struggle for par depending on their putting and speed. Pin placement will be key.

michelson looked somewhat in control at least. i think due to the difficulty of that course there could be several contendors this year

Does anybody know what they changed? I just heard on the radio yesterday that Augusta is closed for the summer after the Masters to redo the course and doesn't open until September.

Also heard an interesting stat - Tiger has the overall lowest scoring average at Augusta. Guess who's second?

Immelman fired off two rounds of 68. Impressive. And looking at his stats you can see why.

26/36 greens hit
25/28 fairways hit

With only one bogie that means he got up and down 9 of 10 times over 36 holes.
