Why would ME1 come out on the PC and the sequels not? If anything, I would say that the chances are basically 99% certain and that it would hit at the same time as the other versions.
Regarding the PC, I was merely saying that 99% certain is
not "sure". If someone offers to bet me tomorrow that they're not going to be bringing ME2 and ME3 to the PC, I'm wagering the farm.
As far as ME2/3 being exclusives to the X360, I think that $890 aqcuisition says this franchise is going to branch out--and as much as possible. EA doesnt have an excluisve deal on any of it's titles with anyone, do they? I cannot recall one at the moment.
The 890 million acquisition was NOT merely for Mass Effect. How many people do you know that are privy to the original exclusivity deal that BioWare signed with Microsoft before the EA acquisition? Was it for the first game or just the trilogy? I don't know, the MS/EA shareholders don't know, the media doesn't know, and (to get back to the betting theme of my post

) I'd wager that not a single one of the people posting speculation in blog comments and message board posts really know, either.
Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II (and its expansion) were
developed and published by EA and made Xbox 360 exclusive. Command and Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath will also be 360 exclusive. As far as titles that they've only published that are exclusive, I don't know.
I have no way of proving it, but forking over almost a billion dollars for two developers to produce a series on one console just doesnt make much sense to me.
I'm not saying which way I think is likely, but saying that you're "sure" that Mass Effect is going to be on PS3 is as solid as someone saying they're "sure" MGS4 is coming to the Xbox 360. There's still a substantial possibility that both will remain exclusive.
