yes, you are, yet you continue posting and looking like a fool. time to smoke up again!

Because you have no argument. You are completely, 100% wrong and basing your entire close-minded point of view on one of your idiot friends who was too stupid to realize that hard drugs = bad.

I hope for your sake you support booze prohibition too, otherwise you are a massive hypocrite. Alcohol kills thousands of people, it should be banned right?

Pssst guess what? I don't smoke either, jackass.

Boomer don't act like you weren't slamming China White being brought over to Saigon from Bangkok by the CIA in '68.

😉

:whiste:
ummmm...I was still in high school in 68...🙄
besides, the best China White came out of Thailand...or so the rumors said...:whiste:

again, i've seen it happen to friends. real people who aren't alive now because they started with weed and ended up dead. so kindly fuck off.

i also hate smoking because it's killed people in my life. laugh about how smoking is harmless as well, please.

How do you know it wasn't their love for coffee or cigarettes that lead them to smoking marijuana? You don't.

Smoking isn't harmless. Nobody is denying that. However, the fact remains that it is proven that marijuana contains tumor suppressing substances. Nobody in the history of mankind has ever died from smoking marijuana alone. I wonder if it's a coincidence that the United States has almost 4 times the lung cancer rate of Jamaica?

Doubt it.. lol.

do you have an argument to make, or are you just gonna sit there and post like a little bitch?
Yes, idiot. My argument is that most Californians, NOT STONERS, were against this bill. That isn't so hard to understand. You're butt hurt right now but the pain will pass.

i ninja edited.

also, i never said i've never had a drop in my life, i simply don't drink now. don't see the point anymore. don't care if it's legal or illegal. doesn't mean we have to just start making other things legal, especially based on mythical reasons like "it empowers criminals".

where is YOUR arbitrary line? why stop with weed? why not cocaine? meth? what right do we have to say you can't come home and drop some x?

All drugs should be legal. You should be able to walk into a pharamacy, without prescription, and get any drug you want if you can afford it. Idiots will die, most people will be perfectly fine. Freedom and Liberty to do unto ones self what they wish without harming others. Drugs don't make people steal anymore than guns make people kill people.

What he says is you don't understand WHY most Californians are against it. A LOT OF STONERS AND PEOPLE IN THE MARIJUANA INDUSTRY VOTED AGAINST THE MEASURE SO THEY CAN KEEP MAKING 10k+ A MONTH OFF THE CURRENT SYSTEM. Fuck it's not that hard to understand.

What I love are all the people who are for keeping MJ illegal but who would be against making alcohol and cigs illegal. You CAN'T have it both ways people! If cigs and alcohol are legal then MJ definitely should be legal, being a much less harmful substance and all. Not to many out there calling for the criminalization of alcohol but it's the only logical conclusion if you want to keep MJ illegal.

The information booklet made a pretty compelling case to vote against prop 19 even if you're for the legalization of marijuana, and that's there won't be any measures put into place to stop DUI. There aren't really any clear testing methods to test if someone is high on the job.
Not sure what the magnitude of influence that booklet had, but I could see a lot of people for the legalization of pot voting no after reading that.

Hire stoners in HR to sniff out the other stoners. Duh.

Huh? There are already measures in place to stop DUI. Why would that stop just because it's legal? That makes no sense.

Are there clear testing methods to test if someone is drunk on the job? No. You do it the same way you would with alcohol; how they're acting, how they smell.

Those are not good reasons at all..... 🙁

Those decrying doom and gloom because it's suddenly legal need a reality check. The vast majority of people that use marijuana are responsible people that contribute to society, just like the vast majority of people that use alcohol are.... They're surrounded by people that smoke. The only reason they don't know it is because, well.. it's illegal. lol.

You must be retarded too if you cannot comprehend that stoners and those in the marijuana industry do not make up the majority of California. Fuck it's not that hard to understand.

Wait, wait.. What? Seriously, what?

I don't even know what to say. How can you deny such a basic thing? This takes very little logic and foresight to see. It's not disputed. Again, that is the very reason we repealed alcohol prohibition after 13 years. It was legal; we outlawed it. It drove production and distribution underground. Prices went through the roof. Yet, if you wanted alcohol and could pay for it, you could get it. No longer were the profits going to legitimate, tax paying business. Transactions were in cash. This cash went straight into the pockets of the people that were willing to deal with this newly illegal substance; by default, criminals. 😕

Are you denying that being illegal has artificially inflated the price of marijuana? Are you denying that people on the shady end of the law benefit from being able to sell something for cash that can be worth nearly four thousand dollars a pound?

Forget "criminals". Who said I was talking about gun toting, slash your throat types? Technically, anybody that grows, smokes or distributes marijuana is a "criminal". This is a multi billion dollar crop that is mostly grown by people like you and me. Are you saying that you don't think local and state governments and economies could benefit from the taxation of it? Why not? It's like free money, since all those billions of dollars are never seen, never taxed as it currently stands.

It is if you're stoned dude!

Yeah, but that 5% difference may be because they pushed hard on it. A lot of the "mis"information you've received is from that party. I know because I have seen it first hand. I have first hand experience with this subject. Do you? Do you partake in the industry? Hell you don't even have to be a marijuana consumer or anything and you can still be part of the community. But whatever, you want thought control, you want to protect people from themselves. Babying and coddling are a big reason we've became such a pussy nation of failures.

That isn't hard to understand, but why does it matter?

Again, everybody should be for logical, fair and just laws.

Marijuana prohibition doesn't fall into any of these categories when things like alcohol and cigarettes are legal. Where is the logic? Where is the equality?

The bottom line is that if you support alcohol being legal and marijuana being illegal, you are the poster boy for a hypocrite. There is no arguing that without saying, "But.. but.. it's bad!".

I am happy to announce that Prop. 19 has failed to pass.

Fuck all you stoners.

You do realize that all the stoners you're saying fuck you too will still be smoking weed right? It wasn't legal before today, and now it won't become legal. But I don't know a single stoner who's going to stop smoking due to this. Most could care less. It's not exactly hard to come across weed, hell it's not even hard to get a medical Marijuana card which makes it... legal! If this prop had passed it would have = more money for the state. There was absolutely no down side to this prop. California has some stupid fucking people, many are happy it got shot down, even though it would have resulted in the state generating tax money by selling a substance that people already buy and use? Mind you the substance will still be sold the state just won't make the $$$ off it now.

Pure brilliance.

it wasn't just the "community". From what I've read there were many other legitimate parts of the larger spectrum of California that was against this. As for "cuddling", you know what they say: those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it. Why don't you look at the state of the country when virtually all types of drugs were legal. This was from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. You don't know addiction until you've seen it on a massive scale. Look at today's Russia or parts of Iran and their heroin addiction. Marijuana may not be the same but it's a slippery slope.

It really makes you want to bang your head against your desk, doesn't it?

It's so simple. I don't know why people have to make it so complicated. I really think the next time a ballot like this comes around, the "YES" people need to play the (alcohol) Prohibition card.

It really takes very little thought to go make that click. The analogs are right there, in your face.

I guess maybe I give the general spoonfed population too much credit. Obviously.

I would rather there be one bad drug available than two. Marijuana is a gateway drug. If it isn't heroin, stoners will be trying ecstasy or some other mind-bending drug to take them to the next level. Then they when they're broke and can't pay their medical bills, the fuckers will sue the state for legalizing all that crap.
